Glad you put padding under the chainhood, people often forget that chainmail can get tangled in your hair and also you need some padding to protect you from the strikes because chainmail can only prevent cuts and stabs for the most part, although realistically it would be much more padding than that but still nice for a roleplay

As a medieval serf, this was an interesting experience. Worth the 5 shillings and cow I traded for it. The arrow hurt a bit though, but it twas but a scratch.
It is interesting to think of how they would talk about their recent history like we would (High Medieval people talking about the battle of Hastings and Saxon fashion, etc.) you never really see that shown or discussed as far as I'm aware.
