I'm so glad that finally Christine liberated herself from all the dysfunction - AND THE AUB CULT itself!
I love how Christine didn't even think it was necessary to get an "AUB-Approved Spiritual Divorce!"

Janelle is neither empowered, independent or strong. She is dependent on Cootie and Robyn for her little piece of property. Sad in my opinion. She has little say in most things it seems. But I love me some Christine!! That’s a strong woman!
I saw the on the wall way back when Kody "married" Robin. Thought then that something was going to go wrong. And it was just a short time later that Kody and Merri got a divorce so that Kody could legally marry Robin supposedly because of her ex and her kids. Yeah right! Merri bought into the "it's to protect the kids from Robin's ex" bull and then Robin held all the power. Kody is just laughable! I'm just waiting for him to get hair plugs so he can still appear young to Robin. Gag!

Christine and Janelle are friends. Now that Christine isn't married to Cody she doesn't have to spend time with people she doesn't like 🙂 Meri and Robin don't even have a true friendship 🙄. I wouldn't have invthem either. Also I couldn't care less is Meri leaves Cody or not. He left her years ago.

She’s (Janelle) not going anywhere. She started a business and loves the Pass. I think they are counting on the show to keep their finances afloat. The more they talk the more we watch the show.
Yes Janelle's happy. She's okay with not having that type of relationship with Cody. To Robin though she's just a paycheck. Those last few years what we all thought has now been confirmed in the last 2 seasons of the show. Cody's reaction to marry doesn't surprise me because before he married Robin she was trying to explain jealousy to Cody and use the example of her having another husband talk about overreacted damn. You could tell he was thoroughly grossed out and Disturbed. And now we find out that even before she was catfish they hadn't been intimate? So really is it so shocking that Robin is his favorite because she's still having sex with him LOL how about that instead of a man having to leave his wives for a younger woman when they get old all he had to do was marry one and keep the others for financial support and raise his kids.
That party looked awesome!! I need a janelle and Christie show. They were the only reason I watched all 16 seasons when I was stuck home with covid. They were awesome.
Christine is divorced from Kody....her real relationships are with a majority of KODYS children, most of whom she literally raised....Robyn and Meri are really in a different world...
She is not divorced because she was never legally married! But she HAS “left” Kody…thank goodness!!
Most places do consider common law marriages to exist so she very much did have to do much of the same stuff as a divorce you are familiar with. They were spiritually married as well (I'm not religious, but can see how this meant something to them) so they have divorced in that regard as well. Their old church didn't divorce them, but that's mostly because cbristine doesn't believe in it and spirituality doesn't require a specific church. They have spiritually divorced and legally separated from what is considered a common law marriage at the very least.

I find it highly suspicious that Christine was enjoying a highly popular mini cooking segment through TLC,,, until,,, until Meri spouted off in one of her “Fridays with Friends” that SHE has been doing cooking segments for over a year now, and she was being copied. Where are the cooking segments, now? Meri doesn’t need invited to Christine’s party.

This was over for all these women the second that wining, complaining Robin walked through their front door. She is the most double crossing person I have ever seen, she pretends to be so quiet and unassuming but she is a real rat along with Kody, they both want to get rid of the other wives as fast as they can, Meri and Janelle better watch their backs. The US has far more deaths related to guns than any other country. We've got a large segment of our population that is not stable enough to have guns, yet still do. There's too many immature gun loving folks out there, who could easily be persuaded to make bad decisions with minimal prompting. I appreciate TH-cam for taking steps to not fuel this crisis, and appreciate your acknowledging that! Words can be VERY powerful.

Okay okay, real question. When did y’all start to dislike Robyn? I have been watching these updates for a while (even though I’m just now actually starting the show, which I know, doesn’t make sense, I just like Reality Charm lolol), and I think that the negativity toward Robyn is 100% valid based on what’s RECENT. However, I’m on season 4 right now, and if I didn’t know anything else outside of what I watched on the actual show SO FAR, I’d say she’s my favorite (don’t come for me🙈😂).
Out of curiosity, When would you guys say things started to go awry with her?? I’m interested to see the transition!
For me? day one. There were a lot of inconsistencies and it was very obvious the wives were not on board with adding a fourth. She very much seemed to play the victim in every situation. "I live so far away 😢. I have to have an 11 day honeymoon even though you guys are upset by it 😢. I faked dress shopping and hurt you guys 😢. I have to live in a separate house 😢." There were a lot of subtle comments and digs in those early days too.
The crumbs are there, but the mask is definitely off in the later seasons.
Thanks Kayla!! Honestly I think people hate on Robyn way too much! Yes obviously she has the best marriage with Kody, but it’s not really her fault she’s the favorite. That being said yes certain things she said on the newest season made me cringe.

@@kaylasmith2922 no problem! I don't hate her, honestly! I do think that her intentions weren't as pure as she portrayed. But it's reality TV and I can't know her heart and soul. The hate Robyn gets is aggressive and really unnecessary. Maybe I see it the way I do because I have been with manipulative partners and she gives me similar vibes? I dunno.
Janelle said Robyn played the damsel in distress and would always call Kody to come to her , when he was with other wives. She loved flaunting her thin, younger body…like in the wedding dress shopping. She loved being the youngest and thin. She acts like a sage also.. as if she has so much wisdom. Little things. I think people are too cruel to her though.
Meri wants the security Kody gives the rest of the family. She's had homes built for her, her bed and breakfast paid for by the family. She is tòo weak to stand on her own feet

If you watched the show, then you would know that the family refused to help her.
Meri is actually very financially successful with Lularoe, she stands on her own tow feet.

@@RealityCharm Well, I'm not sure if running an MLM - with a customer base off of name recognition from a TV show (that originated on a cult ) is actually an example of Meri standing on her own two feet....
A case could be made that she is exploiting her celebrity - which could be seen as a bit different from "standing on her own two feet."
I'm pretty certain that the B 'n B in Utah is largely successful due to the TV show.
Her financial success is more built on her name recognition from the show.
Meri did declare bankruptcy in 2005.
(As did J in 1997, and Ch in 2010)
Think the only one that needs the safety and security of the sister wife's are Robyn. She's the only one that haven't found a way to earn money in any way after her business "My Sister Wife's Closet" failed. She's also the only one that ever had a nanny. Never mind our favourite question " But What Does the Nanny Do?".. my question are But who pays the nanny?
I think Meri is enemies with a few people in the family 😬 And I think with Robyn, Christine and Robyn are okay with each other, but not close. Robyn is so subservient for her children that she would just choose to keep the peace even if she really wants to do something

Are you serious? After watching this show how in the hell can you say Christine and Robin are okay with each other? Robin is a big part of why Christine didn't want to stay anymore. Did you know he was 4 hours way dating Robin when Christine went into labor with truly? If you think Robin and Kristen like each other you're not watching the show.

I'm nor even religious, but it's not hard to google polygamy and the Bible and find several verses about it. Same with the book of mormon and d and c which they also believed up to when the church stopped polygamy for statehood
