I first watched this when I was 12, at the behest of my mum, even though I hadn't quite come to grips with the Shakespearean language, I was still aware that I was watching a very special film, that connected with me on a fundamental level, to the point where I almost shed tears at several moments. Merry old England has never been and never will be perfect, just like every other country, but I'm still very prideful that we have such colourful characters as Henry V in our history, and that we had master yarn-spinners like Shakespeare to bring their stories to life. We're culturally bankrupt as a country nowadays.
I owned this soundtrack on cassette way back when it first came out. The movie hit me so hard. So brilliant in so many ways. Great to see the music posted here to enjoy all over again. Brannagh will forever rock-a couple of the greatest soliloquies ever filmed. What a who’s-who cast: Judy Dench, Emma Thompson, Ian Holm, Derek Jacobi, Brian Blessed, Robbie Coltrain, John Sessions, and even a super young Christian Bale.
I love this movie. Apart from the fabulous score, Kenneth Branagh gave himself the BEST ENTRANCE EVER! and Emma Thompson is a revelation as Katherine...
This music is simply Wonderful, and is a perfect accompniment to Kenneth Branagh's most excellent version of this Shakespearean play. "Oh! For a muse of fire"
I have been looking for this movie Soundtrack for years, in stores!....thank you so much for sharing!...so complex with emotions, depth, and splendour.... Sublime!...

The best ever score NOT nominated for an Oscar .
One of the best films of all time.
I just rewatched this the other night. It gave me chills just like the first time I saw it in the theater. Such a powerhouse.

A quienes luchan por la gloria, hay otros que mueren por amor. Felices los que tienen ambas dichas.
