Thoroughly enjoyed this book until chapter 18 until the end : Homer did not spare his readers and went on to subject us to torment as we were forced to listen to Ulysses repeating his adventures - in great detail - countless times to different people. That's my only criticism of this book. Thank you to the gentleman who created the audiobook and read well. 🙏
It’s just a good book. It wasn’t made for modern society that wants everything in the form of instant gratification. Homer was an artist who used his words well and outshines the work of most modern authors who don’t seem able to tell a quality story whatsoever. Different strokes for different folks for sure, but I personally think it makes sense that he would tell people his story when they literally beg him to.

It's the roman version not the Greek version its called the Odyssey. Seems everyone on here uses the roman version
