In this video I'm gonna show you how you can take your aim from a whiffing mess, to landing some of the wildest shots that’ll even have you surprise yourself. I'll cover how to best optimize your settings for easier aiming control, we touch on the best settings to change such as; nvidia reflex, vsync, enhance pointer precision and resolution. Recommendations for setting up your sensitivity, allowing you to more comfortably control your pmc.
One thing you need to understand about aim is that it requires time, time to build up muscle memory, so that when a pmc appears on the edge of your screen you body already knows how much you need to move your mouse to get the target in your sights. And one of the best ways to keep things consistent and build muscle memory quicker is to run the same loadout. Its no secret that equipment in tarkov can change your movement speed and mouse sensitivity, and its really annoying to be honest, it can really mess you up sometimes. So again if you’re not quite feeling comfortable with your controls, keep running the same loadout, or similar until you essentially become one with your pmc.

The technique you use when you let people walk into your aim point is an actual thing used by snipers called trapping bc you trap them in your sights when they walk in
it’s always refreshing to get a concise, well explained help guide. You didn’t try to boil the ocean, just hitting a few key points with some practical tips. I keep meaning to do some tweaking of my settings and offline practice, thanks for reminding me!

@@tonysiouxfan well like he said, be able to do a 180 comfortably, thats the usual rule of thumb; if youre spinning too fast but the sens is already really low, lower your dpi.
Hey Lew, my friends have gotten me into EFT recently. I've been loving every moment while on my Timmy adventures. Obviously new to the game and sometimes don't understand everything you mention in your videos. But I've been loving your content! Just wanted to say thank you for all the work you put in.
After watching your vids I've recently started playing Tarkov again! Honestly your videos and streams are so chill and helpful I love your content! This video is awesome too because I didn't even know you could do offline raids. I have been too scared to play unfamiliar maps because I had to spend so much time to get used to the 2 maps I play (Customs and Shoreline) and even still I have to have a map on my second monitor!

Brilliant tips! I have played many shooters and seen many aim tips but somehow I missed the simple brilliance of letting targets walk into your crosshairs. I've already seen improvement just on that tip alone.

I wish Tarkov had a theater mode, where I could go back and watch the trace bullets and how they kill people. Showing impact and even grenade shrapnel. Kind of how DayZ can do the same. It would be very beneficial I think

@@xxsilentwhistlexx The game already tracks all player actions to relay to other clients through a server, all they would have to do is record that data and emulate it.
Honestly have to say… I bought the game this December. I always try to follow running PMC/scavs and headshot. Never thought about moving the crosshair forward and letting them walk into it. Thanks bud. I subbed.
I don’t really have aim problem. I mostly die because i don’t know when to run and when to slow walk, when to pop a painkillers, when to reload and when to heal
play factory for 3 days, thats how you speed run learning pvp

I love 1:1 sensitivity but it's very hard to do so on this game, due to the gear adjusting your turning speed. The ADS sensitivity isn't affected by the gear you wear though.

Phenomenal point with the “scav runs aren’t representative of what your pmc will feel like.” I used to scav before my first pmc raid and my scav always has higher stam, more due to weight of the play than time on player but I digress, when I would load into my pmc match I would find myself in fights thinking I had stam when I was just running out, I played like this for months before I realized, now just going offline in horde mode, set to impossible actually made me a better player and got rid of fight anxiety

I actually use the DPI clutch button on my mouse. I've used it for years now so I don't even know when I'm pressing it anymore during fights, it's second nature. So really I have 3 settings, normal walking around, aim down sights, and what I call "focused aiming". It allows me to snipe long range with just a red dot with ease and track players extra smoothly. I get the craziest head taps all the time and surprise myself often.
Not boring to go through settings I hit the like button right when you said let's move on from the boring stuff it's truly just helpful

holy shit, the windows setting for mouse acceleration... how ive missed that one was crazy, but i could never undestand why i had to readjust my aim everytime, i couldnt just move it where i wanted, i thought it was just my brain lmao

Any tips on dealing with flinching while close to mid range sniping? I swear everyone I try to snipe at someone I get flinched and my cross hair gets moved around
My biggest issue with Tarvok is extracting. I can never figure out the extracts and it's hard to acquaint myself with maps like Interchange, Woods, Customs and the underground of Reserve.

your game play is so fluid, may i ask what sort of pc specks you have? im usually getting frames in the 40s when i play solo, and then in mid 20s/30s when i have to stream with my friends on discord. i dont even have time to ADS or else scavs kill me, and most of the time i cant even see PMCs when they burst into a room and the frames drop into the teens
