I am watching previous videos I haven’t seen to help me deal with the news of Jenny’s passing. It gives me comfort knowing Jenny never has to do any of these tough tests anymore. She is at peace and out of pain now and resting easy in Heaven. I hope she is cuddling baby Leo now. ❤️🙏🏼

I know exactly how you feel , I don’t have cancer but a few life threatening illnesses, I worry/ anxiety is … cannot think of anything to say, who can say to someone, like my hubby, who NEVER worries about a thing! ( lucky him) he’s great though! I would like to send love and prayers for you! I’m proud you got thro the pet scan . I have a lot of lung problems ( no smoking) and lying flat deffo make it worse. Watching these old videos I am grateful for a number of things-that Jenny is no longer suffering, that those of us who didn't know her in person got to know her wonderful self through these videos and that her family has all of these to remember her by.

YES! I always ask to sleep, not sedation. I'm so severely claustrophobic, sedation doesn't work. It's wonderful, because you're laying there ready to go, and the next thing you know, you're done. Not a thing wrong with asking for and getting what you want and need. The medical staff has absolutely no problem with this. In fact, it makes their job easier because you're not squirming around.👍
From her past videos I don't think she likes being put to sleep. I think she gets severe anxiety being put to sleep. Being that the ativan helped for the scan maybe xanax would do the job for brain radiation.
I had major panic attacks during all my procedures especially the PET scan & MRI. Do anything to help us a blessing and never be afraid to ask for help. Your doing GREAT!❤️👍🏻

I think those tears are the huge relief that the scan went better than you expected. It's ok to have that release of emotion. You did great! I pray for good results.

I had an MRI where I had to talk myself into NOT aborting the mission- so I truly get your anxiety. So great that you were able to go through with it. Your hubby is so wonderfully supportive- so nice to see!😊
@@jillr759 when you have claustrophobia it does not need to be an enclised mri to have a panic attack. All you need is the feeling/ knowledge that you can't get up and leave, I get her fear
I can’t lay flat either without pain I totally get it! I have a scan coming and I’m like you I work myself up. I have PKD and PLD, bone tumors, and now lymphoma. I am a single mom. My liver is huge it’s full of cysts so when I lay flat it’s hard to breathe and scares me. I take Ativan too it really helps. Hang in there you are so brave! Sending hugs from Virginia

Jenny, my fiancé had a PET scan done & he doesn’t have the issues you have with anxiety or claustrophobia. He said it wasn’t bad but felt warm after the contrast but he said it wasn’t bad. With my anxiety & claustrophobia like for an MRI I ask for a washcloth over my eyes so I can’t see & think about positive things while listening to music. I luv the support from your husband. U can do this Jenny👍🏻
You did great. As I’m sure you know, bravery isn’t not being afraid, bravery is being afraid and doing it anyway. You should be very proud. Not everyone could do it, almost no one can do it with the strength and grace that you do it with.
I know you're scared & it's hard & I'm sure you're anxious. Take all your meds to cut the anxiety & even though I dread this for you, i know you'll be great & the faster you get done the faster it'll be over. You're going to be great & the results will be good & they'll lead you to whatever your next move is. For what it's worth you've got soooooo many people praying, wishing & hoping you'll have an easy go of this & maybe tonight you'll take meds to sleep & all will just be a thing of the past. Much love & a thousand hugs & good luck but you won't need it. Please don’t feel silly for being anxious and scared for the scans because people that have had them completely understand, they’re awful and you have the added pain and trouble breathing while laying flat!! Reading the instructions was a great idea. Provides distraction to the anxiety and it helps reassure that you did scan prep well. To then see you practice meditation, while you probably wanted to scream and run was a masterclass. Respect to your CoH team and courage Jenny ❤

Jenny, you must absolutely ask for and get what you want and need. Actually, the medical staff is 100 percent ok with you sleeping during tests, because it makes their job easier when we're not nervous and squirming. As a severely claustrophobic woman, I always ask to sleep. One minute I'm laying there waiting to go in, the next, I'm done! 🤗
I ask to sleep always. I cannot tolerate anything close, even tight rings, tight clothing is horrid, it's so hard doin many medical tests if the Dr won't listen. I hope Jenny does well

Kyle could have a side hustle where he accompanies patients to their Pet Scans. LOL He is always so cheerful and positive and it just lifts my spirits watching him being so encouraging and funny before Jenny has to go in. I couldn't help but to think that I hope I never have to go for a Pet Scan, but if I did, I would want Kyle to go with me to help alleviate my fears!

I recently had a cancer scare myself . It was a week ago I heard great news I desperately needed . I’m so sorry you’re going through this . But thank God you have a loving husband who is there for you. Stay positive and fight for your kids like I did . Always staying positive really helps . I couldn’t have done this without my family . My husband really brought my spirits up . That’s what you need to fight.

Good job!!! You are tough and brave! ... When you're sick or in pain or old like me 😄, all manner of little pillows and headrests and leg propper-uppers and such are lifesavers! I have a bunch bcs of a bad back and remember my grandmother had tons. And she wasn't shy about making me get her some more. But I loved her and was happy to try to make her more comfy.

You are awesome! When I get scans I also take anti anxiety meds. When I start feeling anxious and hurt I really start praying. I am Catholic so I say a rosary, which takes 15/20 minutes. Let your tears flow, Jenny. Never feel ashamed of your tears. Hugs.

Jenny, my fiancé had a PET scan done & he doesn’t have the issues you have with anxiety or claustrophobia. He said it wasn’t bad but felt warm after the contrast but he said it wasn’t bad. With my anxiety & claustrophobia like for an MRI I ask for a washcloth over my eyes so I can’t see & think about positive things while listening to music. I luv the support from your husband. U can do this Jenny👍🏻
You did great. As I’m sure you know, bravery isn’t not being afraid, bravery is being afraid and doing it anyway. You should be very proud. Not everyone could do it, almost no one can do it with the strength and grace that you do it with.

I know you're scared & it's hard & I'm sure you're anxious. Take all your meds to cut the anxiety & even though I dread this for you, i know you'll be great & the faster you get done the faster it'll be over. You're going to be great & the results will be good & they'll lead you to whatever your next move is. For what it's worth you've got soooooo many people praying, wishing & hoping you'll have an easy go of this & maybe tonight you'll take meds to sleep & all will just be a thing of the past. Jenny, I am so so proud of you for competing the PET scan 🌸 💐 💐 you was amazing!! Please don’t feel silly for being anxious and scared for the scans because people that have had them completely understand, they’re awful and you have the added pain and trouble breathing while laying flat!! I’m so pleased you took the medication and even advised others to take it if needed I think I will ask for medication when I need my next MRI.

Reading the instructions was a great idea. Provides distraction to the anxiety and it helps reassure that you did scan prep well. To then see you practice meditation, while you probably wanted to scream and run was a masterclass. Respect to your CoH team and courage Jenny ❤

Jenny, you must absolutely ask for and get what you want and need. Actually, the medical staff is 100 percent ok with you sleeping during tests, because it makes their job easier when we're not nervous and squirming. As a severely claustrophobic woman, I always ask to sleep. One minute I'm laying there waiting to go in, the next, I'm done! 🤗

I ask to sleep always. I cannot tolerate anything close, even tight rings, tight clothing is horrid, it's so hard doin many medical tests if the Dr won't listen. I hope Jenny does well

Kyle could have a side hustle where he accompanies patients to their Pet Scans. LOL He is always so cheerful and positive and it just lifts my spirits watching him being so encouraging and funny before Jenny has to go in. I couldn't help but to think that I hope I never have to go for a Pet Scan, but if I did, I would want Kyle to go with me to help alleviate my fears!
My husband has them after treatment for stage 1 lung cancer and has no issues with them at all...everyone's different..

@@vickieyoung7122 I've had one, after I was diagnosed with borderline Stage 4 breast cancer in 2009. The worst part for me was having to drink a ton of water in the room beforehand. Blech. I don't like water.
I recently had a cancer scare myself . It was a week ago I heard great news I desperately needed . I’m so sorry you’re going through this . But thank God you have a loving husband who is there for you. Stay positive and fight for your kids like I did . Always staying positive really helps . I couldn’t have done this without my family . My husband really brought my spirits up . That’s what you need to fight.

Good job!!! You are tough and brave! ... When you're sick or in pain or old like me 😄, all manner of little pillows and headrests and leg propper-uppers and such are lifesavers! I have a bunch bcs of a bad back and remember my grandmother had tons. And she wasn't shy about making me get her some more. But I loved her and was happy to try to make her more comfy.

You are awesome! When I get scans I also take anti anxiety meds. When I start feeling anxious and hurt I really start praying. I am Catholic so I say a rosary, which takes 15/20 minutes. Let your tears flow, Jenny. Never feel ashamed of your tears. Hugs.
