I also think that the pressure is off, he can just relax and be himself now. It took a village to get this man to go solo haha, from people writing songs for him to his brothers insisting he go solo. Everyone knows that it would be such a travesty if the world didn't get to see the full potential of this man's talent. The universe has conspired to make sure that Stell gets his shot, and I'm here for it!
Deep down he was confident of his set skills even when he was young but this did not stop him from being bullied even up to today. I think this is where the seeming contrast of his being goal driven and down to earth in his dealings with other people originates. This has been a hectic period for him, from their concerts as a group and his solo gigs, that he admitted of being sick after his concert with Julie. You can even hear it in his voice during the concert why I was amazed that he could still hit the high notes despite his condition. Even during his live with Justin last night they were still both coughing. I only hope that he and the other group members also take time to rest.
I'm so proud of Stell...!! I don't know what else to say about this incredible young man... I love how Stell speaks his mind and heart, very genuine and sincere! He is so humble and so down to earth, also very grateful! Stell is a beautiful person inside and out! Thank you so much, Hurraira!! Love you and take care!;)
Just to share, i was a part of the bret Jackson fanbase before when he was still young snd trying to figure out his career snd seeing him now as the editor in chief of Billboard Philippines. AND doing this interview with Stell now that i'm a berry, is a little bit overwhelming but I'm so happy for Bret and so looking forward to Stell's career. They bond so well. Intelligent and both so well spoken and soft spoken. Bret also loves his family and kinda emotional. He is also an artist, more on Indie and rock music. ❤ To know from that, that anything is possible for our Stellberry makes me so excited especially with what's happening on his career right now 🍓
Same here Hurraira! I was giggling with you while Stell shared how he signed up for Taekwondo just to avoid the voice lessons. That was such a revelation, wasn't it? Young Stell, being asked to sing 'My Heart Will Go On' on their first meeting or being asked to do a 'split' that first day! hahahaha.
It's awesome for me that he switches from English to Tagalog midway. Stell is so much more articulate in Tagalog. He's so intelligent! I'm happy that it was shown here. Hope he and the boys continue to use Tagalog in their interviews so that they're comfortable. His story about the voice and taekwondo lessons is so funny. 😂
David Forster, by daring Stell, really put the international spotlight on him 🥰 I strongly suspect, originally, it was only a single “Room”. Then when it rained, it poured…Mr. C wrote a song, Maxx gave him a song so the idea of an EP became more and more the right choice. AND that he watches this channel because he’s eager to do musicals and theater 🥰! Yay!💃🏻
I think one of the reason why Stell felt his not ready, is the fear of being alone, again. Remember when Pablo, Josh and Ken leaves while Justin is studying so he can't be with him everyday. That fears him, he felt so alone in the training room doing their routines everyday, that makes him vulnerable. He mentioned it twice during his interview🥺 But I am so happy that he surpassed that phase with the help of his brothers too😇 He is meant to be where he is now and More🥰
This is definitely one of the best interviews I've watched. I think, aside from our Stell, it’s also because of Bret Jackson's interview skills. The way he engages with Stell, his knowledge of the industry, and his respect and understanding toward Stell are impeccable! Bret doesn’t just ask questions but also provides valuable input.
Yes he's leading in that direction where Stell could become engaging and comfortable and to say a lot of stuff. He's very helpful and knowledgeable to make this interview interesting and enjoyable to listen to.
I loved this interview, also the one with the entire SB19. Bret is such a great interviewer. He listens to what the interviewee is saying, not thinking of the next question as most interviewers do. He even does recaps after every answer. 👍🏼
I was going to say the same thing! I love how interested Bret is in what his guests have to say. He doesn't talk over or talk down to them. He is well informed so conversations are meaningful.
I am so excited for Stell and so pleased that he has come out of his shell with this new confidence we are seeing. He has shown he got rapping skills and started writing his own verses. The rapsing verse he gave us in Kalakal was so incredible and so rightly hits some. Cheering for him n his bros.
I met a producer when I attended Stell's Wish Bus performance in LA (who's also a Grammy voting member) who said that she wrote a song for Stell and gave it to him. Stell acknowledged receiving the song and thanked the producer during his and Erik's meet and greet. Maybe Stell would consider recording it for a future release?
When some Filipino celebs speak in English during interviews even with the local media, these boys on the other hand always jokingly say that their English is only good for 30 mins. After that, it starts to expire…and then struggle begins. LOL!!! You can see it here. He starts off with straight English, then Taglish then pure Tagalog. 😂 One of the many reasons why we love them. They’re so self-deprecating. 😊
I've really been waiting for your RV on this Billboard interview of Stell 🍓😊 Wanna see your facial reactions and comment about him 😉 Knowing more of Tey with this interview 🥰 So proud of our sunshine boy.. our forever boyfriend STELL 🍓 Praying for more blessings and good health for Tey 🍓🙏🏻🥰
Maybe, there was a song that was bumped out to give way to Di Ko Masabi. Because it was so last minute. They already announced that he will be releasing an EP before going to the US. :)
Was it not in this interview where Stell mentioned that he wrote the Tagalog verses he added in the song Classic? I am mentioning it because was interested to see your reaction to his revelation that he was too shy to show what he wrote to Pablo and so he only showed it to Justin. You have made comment on it and I agree that he also has this skill set. Only he also once gave a side comment that he is only good at making nonsensical or not serious things when writing verses. I hope this is another area he develops more confidence on because even his brothers acknowledge how good he is in impromptu rapping.
Fully agree w what u said. I mean, he already has a collection of raps & songs that he made impromptu diring his or their lives: 1. Tagaytay 2. Puyat 3. Itlog ni Pablo 4. Arnibal ng Taho 5. 2 raps he made during the interview w K Davila, etc.
@@Mysweetings I have seen and listened to all of them and these are only on the things we saw. Ang galing nga lahat dba? Have they not mentioned that they do this for fun and that Stell is very good at it? So looking forward for him to one day find the confidence to do a song/rap for him to showcase his talent.
I also think that the pressure is off, he can just relax and be himself now. It took a village to get this man to go solo haha, from people writing songs for him to his brothers insisting he go solo. Di ko Masabi will be an ICONIC OPM

I love watching your RVs, Hurraira. Felt like i’m watching with a friend.
I think because Stell is so down to earth that he doesn’t realize yet how much of a great person and a great performer he is! Love you too Hurray❤️
😘🥰

I think his confidence-building started with being on The Voice.
yes girl, we know you're in love with Stell 🤭
