Maybe you could tell me what software synths you're using? And what sequencer software are you using? Myself have gone from Cubase over to Ableton Live lately, with exclusively VST synths and effects, since I dont have the budget to buy the kind of stuff that you have ;-)
I use or have used almost all DAWs ... I don't use too many soft synths as I like to invest in hardware rather than software. That said, I have FM7, EastWest Composers Collection, Pro Tools, Sonar, Logic, Cubase, Ableton, Reason, but mostly I use hardware synths..

Thanks! I don't have an M1Rex right now so I don't remember if that patch uses one of the additional waveforms from the EX ROM, but even with a regular M1 you should be able to get close to it, it's a simple filtered down pad. It's an expanded version of the M1 that has additional waveforms from the Korg T series. Yes, the M1 software version should have that additional waveform (#163 PianoPad A), and the patch I use here, "#37 Analog Pad2".
That's odd... I don't have the software version but I see from the Korg site that it comes with the extra EX waveforms, so just load the T3 factory bank in it and you should have it
did you ever do a "shop tour" or are you planning one or are there good reasons to avoid such stunts? my guess is that you have a few more boxes than most ...
