Love your instruction. I think you are brilliant at your how you shape your words and actions in order to understand. Need help with an alternate for me as a woman who doesn't wear a belt so cannot place alignment stick through belt loops. Any ideas?

Now THAT'S a brilliant video Chris ... so easy to follow and figure things out by yourself or with another golfer .... love this one (as most of them of course) ... just how simple and effective it looks makes perfect sense to get even better at Driving the ball. Thank you for this... aiming to get below 2 hcp within the next 2 weeks and i'm 100% sure this will get me there... been just a tiny bit off and saw here what it "probably" is ;))) Cheers...

Brilliant video Chris, I feel like I do a lot of these things anyway (swing speed around 110 mph) but the explanation of creating width in the backswing and keeping your hands as far away from your chest was an incredible tip for me. It immediately put me in a better position at the top and would also help with extra speed (brilliant bonus!)

Another great video Chris.....I am ok with point 1 & 2, but need to work on the third point. No idea what my swing speed is with my driver, but Toptracer ball speed is 145-150mph, which gives me a carry of 235-250yds depending upon strike. Handicap dropped by 4 in the last month, thanks for your help. Looking to book a lesson with my teaching pro to gain further improvements.

I definitely have that lateral move when trying to add power. I think, for me, doing this means I end up coming over the top and so pull everything left. The hands part is ok but I have a very short backswing and so I generate my power through the wrist snap and club head speed, but the arena covered is very short.....does this make sense to you?

Hi Chris, just revisited this video for maybe the third time, (having problems as usual,) and your third point about moving pressure from your trail foot onto your lead foot sparked a question that I am struggling with. I have seen several golf tutors say that we should stay behind the ball when hitting the driver, but how do I do this AND get my weight transfer right at the same time..? Talk about confusing - especially at the speed I am moving at during the downswing. HELP...!!!

Chris, on the backswing, do you like to put some momentum from your turn to swing your arms a few additional inches at the top? Kind of a sling feeling to get a little bigger turn.

Great video Chris, thanx. Any tips on keeping the hands before the club to get a lower ball flight? My driver shots get a very high launch and i’d like to lower my ball flight.

How can i stop myself rolling the wrists away when starting the backswing.
    Thanks Royc

Thanks, great video. Although I don't sway my body backwards in the backswing my head moves laterally about 9 inches and stays there. It feels stationary but watching my swing on video shows me that something isn't right!

Thanks Chris for all the lessons. My game has improved over the last year, and I have recently recorded four consecutive rounds in the 80s. (Age 64, playing 20 years). Breaking 80 has become a realistic goal. I am enjoying the game more than ever. As a former high school teacher, I can say knowledgeably that you are an excellent teacher. Your lessons are so well explained, and so clearly demonstrated. Your demeanour and delivery are excellent. I look forward to every lesson and I tell everyone I can: "Check out ChrisRyanGolf".
