This Dash Cam Tour takes you from Downtown Los Angeles to Stupid Frank Sinatra Drive , which you can call a back alley is a service road and eventually to the South Las Vegas Blvd, which is the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise city.
LA to Vegas. Dash Cam Tours.
This tour ends when you hit North Las Vegas Blvd and enter actual Las Vegas city.
This tour excludes Driving through city of Fontana because there was a detour and an hour or so of night driving, which had nothing to see.

I've traveled this highway many times since I was six well into my adult life. When I Started out I-15, I-10 and all that didn't exist. Route 66 did exist as well as a forgotten highway, US 91. You took route 66 until you ran into US-91. Then Route 66 and US-91 ran together to Barstow. In Barstow the routes separated. US 91 went to Salt Lake City and on north to the Canadian border. Route 66 went to Chicago. Route66 got replaced by a whole mess of interstates. It was intended as a more or less direct Highway from Los Angeles to Chicago. It's essentially the same route 'on I-15.

True. Many parts of 66 were replaced by the interstate system. The west end of 66 begins at the Santa Monica pier and travels well into the mojave desert in California and goes for hundreds of miles across the west us to north central us, which is where the original route 66 was. The only time I've been on 66 was when I was travelling from Barstow to Kingman, Arizona, which you can go if you take I-40 from Barstow and takes you deep in the mojave desert and is practically 140 miles of nothing until you get to Needles, which is right by the Arizona. I've driven all the way to Kingman, Arizona. That's the only part of 66 I've driven. The reason I brought up i-40 I because 40 is where the original route 66 once was.

Even though it is only 10 miles from downtown L.A, it takes you you forever just to get to Pasadena. And then another hour to an hour and a half to get to Rancho Cucamonga to get onto I-15.

How did you manage to drive to Vegas in just 3 hours? It would normally take you at least 4 hours to get to Vegas (unless you're doing 100 mph the whole way). It's about a 250 mile stretch

Nice video. The 2 left most lanes seem a lot faster. What are they for? Any car drive there? Because if it is just speed I would be there all trip!! Am speaking of from 7.00. I love to drive faster than average driver.

It is express lanes, you have to pay a monthly fee for it, if you drive without pass you will be fined 250

But dont worry, when you are driving from LA to Las Vegas drivers tend to drive over 100 mph

You should've left for Vegas early in the morning like 6am or 7am not no after work or school time. Because rush hour in LA freeways are pretty bad. Next time make a video for Las Vegas but leave at 6:00 a.m. and not know four or five in the afternoon think smart.

They are just express lanes!

Those are called Car Pool Lanes and are reserved for cars with more than one person, or fully electric and plug in hybrid vehicles.
