Great Wrenching Loren with improved facilities in the new shop you don't have to lie down on the floor. Loren charges by the hour and works his own hours. Because Chrome and Loren are friends, they have a Gentleman's Agreement. Looking forward to seeing the finished product. Give my regards to Leah. From London UK 🇬🇧
Hi Loren What can I say (WHAT'S UP WEIRDO ) You are the maser Mechanic I can't wait to see Chrome Ride with the Tanks and see it all go Thank you for all you do
Tight!!!! 😂 love how the wrench goes flying! 😂 whenever Morgan ( my daughter ) works on the van she reminds herself ‘hand tighten’. Glad to see we aren’t the only ones that experience flying tools!❤
Interesting to watch your work and how you explain your work. I am happy you enjoy the new shop and all the 🧰 Take care and be safe. Leah wants you home in one piece.❤
Great audio AND video. So much easier to see what you're doing clearly now that you have the shop and the lift. It's also great to know you're safe and out of the elements warm or cool and dry too. You really are a thorough and thoughtful mechanic, attending to all the details. My husband and I watch all your videos!
All of us, old school guys like the cork gaskets better than the new ones because it just works better & there was no need to ever change it. My dad used to say “ if it ain’t broke don’t fix it “
Watching you wrench before I wrench. Man that lift is nice. I sure miss my dad’s work pit back in the day. We’ll let you know when we’re anchored in that spot we talked about when we were camping. You could launch your boat at Deep bay or somewhere close and join us if you want.
Hey Loren..I have a 93 with the E4OD and have had good luck with the reusable gasket. It has plastic inserts where the bolts go..so it doesn't deform anything and it's thicker as well 😁👍
Hey Lauren, great video you cover both gas and diesel Ford vans. Thank you. Your 7.3 fuel filter video helped me out big time thank you. My first time changing out the filter and WoW so much more power. safe travels my friend
I LOVE the mic setup. I’ve been watching you for a while and the audio would have been my only complaint. LOVE your content and as a fellow technician from Massachusetts, love your work. Just 1 thing, a shop needs to be a shop. Chrome needs to ease up on the epoxy floor fixation. It’s going to get banged up.
It has really been so fun to see this come together Loren. And your patience in telling me about each step is amazing! Im loving the learning. Thank you friend! ✌️❤️
Hello Miss Leah, You should start your own channel. I would love to see you come out with a cookbook!!! I would buy it!😊 Always stay your funny beautiful self.🌸🙏💐
Hello Miss Darlene! Thank u!.. 🙏🏻 😊🤗💐 I really don’t have time . I work FT and once I gets home I have Lauren and my son to look after eh and …chores 😅 Iam busy like a bee at home … 😂😂😂
Hello my Canadian mechanic friend, from Peter Eriksson Sweden Europe! Do you like the new shop? Do you got everything in tools that you need? I wish you the very best & your lovely wife! Next week i get my 4x4 Mercedes Benz G30 AMG Brabus i orderd, fun! 685 hp in that engine, looking forward like a child! Best Regards Peter Eriksson Sweden Europe 😊😊😊!
That was fascinating seeing you do the transmission pan. My transmission and diff are due for a service soon, and I was wondering how it gets done, so this was really interesting. Those fuel tanks will make a big difference, too, once they are installed. Thanks for sharing these mechanical jobs with us.
Many times the apparatuses simply bolt to exsisting pedals,, parts and misc control parts . My one friend has MS, his van, gators and equipment is all retrofitted.
You are right about the gaskets, Sir of course! Sorry they dont use cork almost anymore! Sometime newtimes is not better, or? From Peter Eriksson Sweden Europe 😊😊😊!
What I would also do since it’s on the lift, I would get some header paint and paint that muffler and exhaust pipes. Specially, the welds they will rust quick with header paint will last a lot longer just a thought, I’m here watching 11:09 AM Sunday, July 14 good to see you.
I have a question. With all this talk and drama about heat, would it not be wise to install rooftop a/c ? It seems all the vehicles there have ample power now, with all the battery banks, inverters, and shore power plugs installed. Surely Patty’s bus build will have one too. Cheers. 🤙
Chrome was talking about that and said it’s not worth it because it’s usually only about two weeks that they have really hot weather here. The rest of the time is just nice and comfortable.
They use between 1200-2000 watts an hour that takes a lot more solar and batteries then these busses have Most rvs use their generator to run their rooftop ac
@@PattisArtInnaVanHey Patty. I think as our average temps are going up year by year, its turning out to be more than “a couple weeks”. Being able to keep his van cool for Cruze while he is stationary at camp, or perhaps shopping, showering, dinner, etc…seems worth the expense in the long term. He stated he’s in this van long term, its his main home. Would be a good time to get an a/c sponsor, as the VanToys brand now becomes reality. cheers.😎🤙
Wondered about the employee / partner question. And I am concerned..I would hope that Chrome would insist on paying you and covering your expenses..While doing the work helps your channel some, Chrome is making some serious money off of your work and as such eligibke to take significant write-offs on his taxes as well. There is nothing wrong with accepting payment as there is no way for you get to/ to be at Chrome's shop with it cisting you money to travel etc..Please take a long term view about your finances and what is fair with all the travel/ferries and wear and tear on your Ambo..Peace I learn allow watching you wrench!
Your comment is full of assumptions. You assume Loren isn’t getting compensated for work he does. Loren didn’t mention compensation at all. Just that he was neither a traditional employee nor partner. His compensation is no-ones business. Thats between Chrome and himself.
@@Makeitbymandy I don't care about the details but I do care that Loren is receiving compensation for his time, expertise and travel. As I said I hope that at a minimum Chrome insists on ensuring that all the costs associated with visits that involve work on the shop or Chrome's vehicles are covered.
Without Loren’s knowledge & and wrenching experience Chrome would be caught between a rock 🪨 & a hard place, certainly obvious that Chrome doesn’t have the technical expertise and capabilities to wrench on his Van and the Ambo, he should spend more time joining Loren in the shop and learning from the MASTER 💯% 👍👍👍☮️
I’m sure this is something that Chrome and Loren have discussed and figured out amongst themselves and as for the rest of us,really it’s none of our damn business.
