Al Horford = damn good NBA player Kyle Lowry = damn good NBA player Demar Derozan = damn good NBA player Mike Conley = damn good NBA player … but unfortunately in my humbly opinion that doesn’t cut it.
The reason why Kawhi has a great legacy is because when healthy he’s in my opinion one of the 10 best PLAYOFF performers ever. Dude has no MVPs, and won’t even reach 25k points, not enough games played, etc, but still is one of the greatest to ever play.
@@yetundeadeyemi2436MJ Bron Jerry Bird Magic Shaq Hakeem Timmy Russell Kawhi then players like KD, Dirk, Kobe, G, Joker I value being number the 1 option, competition, historic efficiency and standout performances
Kyrie as the first option is underrated, in 2018 I’m the game’s kyrie missed there would have ranked as a bottom 5 offense and in the games he played they would have been tied for the 11th best offense and in the 2019 they were a top 10 offense. This right here shows that kyrie can be a engine to a good offense. Not a elite one but definitely not bad or even mediocre.

Ron spent that entire Amare segment hating and capping for literally no reason. He said Duncan was running the floor in 07-09. That’s just not true 😂 and Rondo > Embiid is a nasty ass take
I normally roll with Marz on most things but in this case I vehemently disagree with his definition of who should be in the Hall of fame. I would agree more with the premise that only the generational stars can be 1st ballot and then stars should be 2nd, 3rd etc. The idea that only Steph Curry goes into the HoF out of the Warriors team is a bit silly. Steph can only ascend because he has a running mate in the backcourt that was equally as dangerous from beyond the arc and he also had one of the best defenders of his generation as well. All 3 of them are HoF players they changed the game and to pretend it was just Steph does them a disservice
i didnt pretend it was just steph. i dont know where u interpreted that from but whatever. i dont really have a problem when people disagree w my opinions on stuff like 'who should be in the hof' or 'who should be mvp' or 'how should all star voting work' cos those things dont require basketball knowledge so thats fine just my interpretation of what a hall of famer should be
@MarzTalksSports but by just having Steph in there effectively you are saying it was just him. History will forget about the pieces around him that was my point really. Just as you have generational stars you have generational teams. The Warriors fall into that category as well as other dynasties you've mentioned previously. If you have been a star on a generational team I think you'd have to go in but like you say it's subjective. I'd be more in favour of tiered eligibility so generational stars get in maybe after 3 years of inactivity as first ballot and then secondary stars are eligible after 5 years so there is a distinction maybe different coloured jackets?
@MarzTalksSports I think I'd prefer a tiered system so there is a distinction between players so there is an acknowledgement of contribution but there is also a separation
