Awesome tips, Marie! Fruit picking is definitely the easiest option in terms of finding a job! Working on a ski field is very competitive so planning super far in advance is a must! Can't wait to see more NZ video - keep up the good work :D
Bruh since starting my research I’ve watched 10+ of your videos (sometimes not even realizing I clicked on another one of yours lol), thanks for being so informative!!!
Good to see the glamour back on your face. Your video are a true guide for someone who's looking for decent job. I am sure hundred of thousands of people have already left for work after seeing this You certainly are a booster for new Zealand's economy. Hopefully you'll soon be getting product endorsement
Glad you enjoyed the video :) I am sure you can find work in farming. I worked on farms for 8 months in NZ. Head to the south island and you wont have any trouble :)
Its illlegal to work here without a valid work visa. :/ So unless you have a visa that allows work, you would be breaking the law and could be fined and deported.
Im really confused . I am from the UK. i looked on the new Zealand immigration website and it says in order to get a seasonal work permit/visa that you need a job offer . But then every seasonal job i see says you need a visa to apply... But you cant get visa if you dont have a job?? WHAT ITS A LOOP ?? WTF
@@marieaustin10 AHH ok it was a bit confusing, because the visa looked pretty expensive. And if you apply for the visa with out a job ( most of the farm jobs I saw said you had to already have the visa) You run the risk of taking too long to secure a job / running out of in new Zealand doing it that way etc ?
Hi! Im looking for apply for a work and travel in new zealand! Unfortunately im a peruvian citizen and it supposed that this kind of programms are only for native english speakers😕 do you know about something i can do?
I have lots of backpacker friends who came from South America. There were not native english speakers. But some did need to do a english test before coming. They were on a working holiday visa. See if Peru has a WHV option.
Do you think it's possible to save money on a working visa in New Zealand? :) I know Australia's great for that but New Zealand temps me more. However I don;t want to be scraping and just spending what I earn. I'd love the ability to save up during the months.
Hey! Yes absolutely. In fact I am saving money now, and I am filming a video explaining how this week! I am travelling with friends who have saved almost $20,000 each in just a few months here on a WHV. I am able to save $800 per week right now with my job here. I will make a video about it all soon :D
Yes please do. This is really making me contemplate going there or not. That's a huge amount to save though and I would love to hear how they managed that. Thank you :)

Hey, it's best to see if you can get a WHV here in NZ, or a valid work immigration visa for a specific skill, or even studying here can help you get a job after graduating.

How were you able to find accommodation if you were moving around the country? I thought about just renting one place in Auckland for a year
NZ is a very similar country to my home country (Wales)... mountains, farms and sheep... but couldn't be further away from geographically 🤣
Haha yes i agree! I love Wales and it is similar here to there... But also so different haha
Hello Tamsin
thanks for the video :)
I would love to do farm work but I get really bad back pains from physical work so I think I won’t be able to do that :/ But I love nature
Such a great tips. But i dont have any close people out there. I want to have a job in nz.
If it's possible, apply for a WH over here and find work once you get here :)
Thanks for better services i
No problem! :)
Is it possible to get a job like that if you don't have a Visa ? Icelandic people have a hard time obtaining a visa in NZ :/
Its illlegal to work here without a valid work visa. :/ So unless you have a visa that allows work, you would be breaking the law and could be fined and deported.
All the jobs i have had have always checked and asked for a copy of my visa too. They're very strict here.

I have made another video on my channel about rent prices and living expenses in New Zealand. You can find it on my channel. :)
What is the music at the end?
Do u know about kiwifruit country-316, state highway-33, paengaroa, NZ is it trusted company or fake etc ..
Hey I am not sure, sorry.
Great video can I get a job on a visit visa
Hey, Really informative video! Just wondering if I need a car to get around NZ or is transpo easy? Thanks!
You can get around with transportation, but car is really nice to have. Public transit is sufficient but car is better.

If you're from the UK, then you should apply for a Working Holiday Visa. That is the visa that the majority of young people are doing.
@@marieaustin10 but it said on the immigration for New Zealand that you couldn't apply for it unless you already had a job offer
@@Hieveryponymemes no.. for a WHV no job offer is required. You can even just travel the entire time

Whats the difference between working holiday visa, holiday visa and tourist visa?
Working holiday visa allow you to work legally. Tourist visa doesn't allow you to work.

Wow, sounds like it's a lot easier to find work in New Zealand compared to Australia 👍🏻
Yes i think its definitely easier here! :)
As a tourist in new zealand can I look a job/ work then if i hired and found an employer can i apply for work visa?
How many hours is “full time”? Comparing to where I am (the states) full time is 40 hours.
I consider 40 hours a week full time :)
Hello carolina
Thanks for the great tips. Is there an age limit ?
Most WHV age limit is 31 - and 35 for few select countries.
How much these jobs offers /hr !, ? Does they need working visa?
They vary from $17 per hour to $25 per hour generally. Depends totally on the job.

Hi Marie. Is it possible to get a Work permit visa from the Owners of the Garden to kiwi picking job
Hey, sometimes the kiwifruit companies can sponsor a person. It depends on your skills and experience. Often not for picking but for other roles sure.
