Amazing vlog, really got me excited for our trip to Mallorca coming up in summer!! Would you guys recommend staying inland and travelling during the day? I have accommodation booked on the coast but your villa and other rural villas just look amazing !

I loved, absolutely loved your Video Tour of Sunny/Rainy Mallorca.
I especially loved the theme, style, directed editing of your storyline.
This is how I viewed your video.
I am an older retired guy living in the soft confines of Kona Hawaii (lucky me and my wife Mandy)!
I am a pilot but too old to fly any longer, so as a hobby I fly/play with my super cool, tricked out flight simulator--however my hobby was slowly losing it’s bizzaze due to repetition of flights to nowhere.
Then --drumroll--I came up with this childlike idea! I would pretend to fly around the world in a super cool Boeing 737 Bizjet, going from one interesting place after another and upon arriving at each location I would then, prior to my next flight, watch at least one hour of TH-cam Travel videos about that location .
My Starting point was Bordeaux France, my first stop was Palma de Mallorca where I spent a fantastic week of Sun, fun and exquisite vacation meals and breathtaking views while visiting with an extremely interesting couple from England named Emz and Nick. It was fantastic.
My fantasy trip was very reminiscent of a real life trip to Santorini 5 years ago, and strangely left me with the same good memories. I have read that the mind has a difficult time differentiating between the “real” and the vividly imagined!

Thanks for the amazing recommendations! We are going to Mallorca in May and cannot wait! Do you remember what time your table was reserved for at El Olivo? We were able to get a reservation at 9 PM and we are hoping it's not too late to catch the beautiful sunset. Also, do you recommend the 7-course tasting menu, or would 5-course be enough? Thanks in advance! 😊
Our pleasure! So glad you enjoyed 😊 Our reservation at El Olivo in July was at 7:30 and the sunset around 9:15/9:30 we think! Our advice would be to get there early to admire the sunset over Deia before your dinner. In our opinion the 5 course tasting menu is enough although we opted for 7 courses. Have the most amazing time! 😊

Thank you so much Lucia! We went in July (honestly the weather wasn't amazing but as you can see from the video, we chased the sun!) You literally can go from one side of the island to the other in an hour or so so it's perfect :) x

There is always parking pretty nearby the beaches I'd say - shallow water near the coast but of course, like anywhere, gets deeper the further you go out! Have the best time :)

Had one more question 🙈 how did you feel safety wise? When going to beaches.. did it seem okay to leave your stuff while you went into the water?
Haha no problem! Tbh we didn’t feel super safe leaving our stuff unattended when going in the water but that was just us being overly cautious. Sometimes we hid our valuables under our towels.

Aww thank you so much 😊 Thankfully we didn’t witness any but we were mindful of our valuables when going in the sea.
Generally Majorca seems to be very safe but I was at the beach today ( I’m staying there rn) and we did see people looking at our stuff and discussing taking something so do be careful!

@@emzandnick Stick to the South Zone and southern part of the West Zone, other areas are dangerous, also i'd recommend going to other areas of the state like Ilha Grande, Região dos Lagos and the 3 cities of Petropolis, Teresopolis and Nova Friburgo (my favourite that i visit since i was a child, know for swiss ascendency)
And Ipanema is better than Copacabana since Copa is too saturated, tho other lesser known beaches are better (hence why i suggest the Ilha Grande island that's far away from rio but it has many beaches and it's quiet
If guys decide to go in your summer, it will be winter here so the 3 cities are gonna be cold since it's southern hemisphere so be aware, in Rio temperature is chill around 18°C
I live in Mallorca. But in this video you've visited the most expensive places.. :D I know more beautiful hidden beaches.. I guess you haven't seen the best part of Mallorca. :))

Loved your video ❤️ I was in Deia about 12 years ago (have sea glass in my bathroom from Cala Deia beach where you dined!). We have a week booked for the first week in August. Staying in an AirB&B in Deia and hoping to make trips to Soller, Fornalutx, Valldemosa and??? Would love any suggestions you’d have for other beaches or romantic villages (coast or inland) to visit. Also, in your opinion, would you recommend renting a car or could we get by using buses everywhere? We’ve also got a concert to attend in Andratx 😉🎉
