I've been following this series in bursts and I gotta say you cover every mod really well. I'm learning so much, you approach things much differently than how I would have done it. The fresh perspective helps me improve my knowledge of modded Minecraft, so I can enjoy it even more! Thanks for the videos!
I dug a 1x3 hole, put water in each end and the Botania Pedestal in the middle. It permanently waterlogs the pedestal so it refills after every use (the pedestal is effectively in an infinite water source). I then put two half slabs either side of the pedestal so that the water sources are hidden. That's the easy way to do it for those who are just starting out or who don't want to use routers, etc. 🖤
@@JamFusion. It should do, unless that specific mod has changed the ability for the pedestal to be waterlogged for some reason. It works in other FTB modpacks like ATM7.
Chosen you should keep an eye out for a flight ability totem! Instead of the chorus fruit There’s a flight totem that gives you unlimited creative flight you can get from your mob farm!
For those who don't know, you can reroll totems by combing 3 of the same level in a crafting grid. They have a change to upgrade when you do. Flight is in the purple tier.
hey look into the wizard's Armarium its a belt from Ars Noveau lets you switch between armor sets 3 to be exact with a simple keybind or in my case a mouse button i have my ars set botania set and a general set also no need for pedals you can just bone meal a flower and get more.
I always had trouble automating Botania, i really tried to challenge myself at staying with a Full Botania Mod Automation, but its so difficult, so i also went with modular routers.
@@Kahadi just figuring out how to automate everything from auto feeding coal to endos all the way to gaia setups without the use of other modded or vanilla items. Some tricky buisness.
@@Eluketric Botania is designed to be used with vanilla and itself as the only mod. Lots of other mods and modpack authors have added compatibility over the years, but if you want a pure Botania setup then using vanilla items as well is what it's designed for. No need to make it so hard for yourself. It even says so in the Lexica Botania, that it is designed to be fully useable with only vanilla Minecraft and itself as the only mod.
@@ChosenArchitect It's been implemented by some modpack authors recently. It doesn't seem like that is the case for this modpack though, in case someone reads this now and wonders why it isn't working for them.
Your crafter setup for the runes pushes out the items by type, not in sequence. So if you make multiple of one rune (like a rune of water) it first puts in 2 Fishing Poles and then 2 Mana Steel and so on. Not the entire sequence once and then again. How did you solve that issue? Edit: This issue is fixed, as it turns out, by setting the crafter next to the Runic Altar to: "Crafter Mode: Redstone Pulse inserts next set". That was probably also what Chosen did, it's just somehow not in the video.
Chosen, i just started to watch your series ftb skies and still have to watch this episode, but I was wondering why you never use the immersive portals mod? Its instantanous travel between dimensions and it looks awesome (dont know about the fps impact and osiris shader compatibility) it does not add any items so viewers can still follow your series without having to install something. It would look awesome to see you use this
You're a legend, iv managed to get a copy of Java, what do I need to do to be able to join the server? I have the IP but it won't connect, I'm using forge 1.19.2, think that's the one I need. Please help me out if I'm wrong and missing something
To be fair it's just part of this modpack and well... I also get tired of using it but this time I wanted to try and automate everything and that was fun to do

Does this work in ftb skies? Swear I saw someone try this and it didn’t work.

ATM7 TTS doesnt have modular routers so you sir are a life saver.

Try maybe upgrading the power cable of your energy flowers and see if the energy output can be enhance :)
I tested with batterys as well and it still uses about 20rf/t

It's never in modpacks I'm currently playing. I've actually never used the mod but I've seen it and it looks pretty darn cool!
I haven't looked yet in this mod pack since I haven't gotten far in Botania, but is the portal to the Alfheim dimension in this pack?

You need the full modpack, not just Forge
