Roger saved his father to be saved during blitz.
He saved Buck's baby (from the ship of Bonnet), he made possible the meeting of Geillis and Dougal... All to assure his pwn birth in XX th century

Thank you so much for your reaction I enjoyed it. It was great to see Roger connecting with his father and knowing they seen each other even for that moment in the underground , sad but heartfelt. Thanks again till next episode.😊❤

Please read “A Leaf on the Wind of All Hallows” it is a short novella about Jerry’s story and all is revealed . It is a very quick read and it has a lot of Frank Randall!!!! (Jerry IS on a covert mission for MI6 after all.) It also has these events with Buck & Roger! Very good. 🤗

I was very pleasantly surprised to see Nicholas Ralph as Roger's father. Have you seen his show All Creatures Great And Small? It's a co-production between Channel 5 in England and PBS Masterpiece here in the states. All Creatures is one of the best written television shows of all time. It's based on a book series. Started airing in 2020 and I've watched it multiple times over. Season 5 begins airing soon. Sadly nobody's reacted to it yet. If you want to see more of that brilliant actor I recommend giving it a watch as he's the main lead in it.

I have only seen the 1970s version, but that was a lovely show :) glad someone revived it.

@@alexachipman I couldn't recommend the new version enough. It's so amazing. It was Nicholas Ralph's first role out of drama school. The entire cast is so incredible. They renew the show in two season batches. That never happens! Ralph has also recorded new versions of the All Creatures books on audio.

Unfortunately the Scottish weather gods dealt them a bad hand with the snow for this episode. The Battle of Monmouth was fought on June 27-28 in 100 degree weather. Many soldiers died from heat stroke. Also, am I weird to feel that Bree's interview with the police is going alarmingly similar to how Frank's did circa 25 years earlier?

I have been so confused by the weather this season, so this is helpful to know!

Almost caught up! Every week I didn't get an Outlander, I shrieked and howled like episode 11 Claire. Heh, heh, no, but I did sulk, and have to keep reminding myself what a spoiled first-world problem it was. Anyhoo! They're really milking the Brie story along in little chicken nugget pieces. That part's driving me batty. Especially contrasted to the 1770's stuff tooling along on cruise control. But, again, first-world problem.

I have a massive crush on Brie, so they can show her as much as they want! Cut to Brie reading the local paper aloud for no reason and I will be happy!
