I have both JL and HW DB5s but the older Goldfinger and Skyfall versions, and a Goldeneye DB5 from JL as well, just the same car with licence plate BMT 214 and Goldeneye packaging. I think Hot Wheels made the better 1/64 Aston, gonna have to get the NTTD versions now!
Hard to pick, as I said they both have great features that each other don’t have. Considering they’re Both so affordable I would just recommend adding both to the collection.

Yeah, I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. Couldn’t believe the level of detail on the paint. But JL still has better rims.
With the wing mirrors Johnny Lightening has always outdone the Hotwheels DB5. I added mini guns to mine.
Out of the box HW looks better I think…but I collect the Bond cars in the box so I absolutely prefer the JL…it looks great on the wall😁
I agree, they both shine in their own special ways. Now maybe we will get some Jaguar XF cars to go along with them.
