As per my knowledge of historicism , historicism implies excessive dependence on facts .. it means all our existing knowledge and cognition is shaped by historical events.. in short , present is determined by past . And humans have no control over historical events ... they happen randomly....
Please check whether it's correct or not .
If possible please give an example of historicism apart from Karl Marx's historical determinism.
