I've watched quite a few of these reaction videos to this cover. Your emotion in the beginning makes your reaction very similar to mine. I have to add that I just lost my #SoulPet so my emotions were very sensitive this week. This is by far my favorite reaction video.
The song is a cover of Suzanne Vega's Tom's Diner (1987). This is a collaboration of two German bands: In the first room AnnenMayKantereit are playing and Henning May (deep raspy voice) is their singer. And in the second room Giant Rooks are playing, Frederik Rabe is their singer. A little later AnnenMayKantereit join them. The guys of AnnenMayKantereit are the older ones.. AMK does mostly German songs, Henning can also sing without that rasp, his voice is amazing, but I like Frederiks voice even more. Giant Rooks do English songs, even though they are Germans as well. Did you say a car vibe let me tell you this I had brand Cadillac on 5th ave in Manhattan NY at 5pm and this song the original came on bro the entire block at rash hour stop and dance I'm old lady in business suits, kids school bus rocking in the middle of the street asian,black,white,Spanish yo even police was dancing. And for the life remember name of female artist that made original. Yo this is one of them song that bring the human side out of you. It break down races barriers...love it.

You can also write "annenmaykantereit" in all lowercase letters - as the band did it sometimes, but the capital letters symbolize the beginning of the family names of the band members, which when strung together form the band name
