- கடந்த ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் மாதம் நாங்கள் எந்த ஒரு திட்டமிடலும் இல்லாமல் திடீரென்று ஒரு பயணம் மேற்கொண்டோம். அது நிறைய அனுபவங்களையும், வாழ்க்கை முழுவதும் மறக்க முடியாத அளவுக்கு நல்ல நினைவுகளையும் தந்தது.
அந்த பயணத்தின் முதல் நாள் வீடியோ இது!!
We went on an unplanned road trip in late December last year. We wanted to go to Las Vegas, spend few days there and then come back. That's all the plan we had. We had no plans on where to stay, what route to drive, how many days it's gonna take.
There were many challenges like,
No good rental cars were available due to holidays. So I had to drive in our old Honda Civic, which is not an AWD.
No good weather. There were winter storm warnings and roads were not in a good condition to drive.
No proper plans.
The trip was gonna be either awesome or complete disappointment. We were willing to take the risk anyway. It took 8 days in total for the whole roundtrip. It was such an action packed, intense trip with so many activities and experiences.
After 8 days, more than 3000 miles of driving in 7 states (Washington, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, California and Oregon), facing near death experience in Angels Landing trail in Zion National Park, driving blindly with no maps and no network in Death Valley National Park, driving in a worst winter storm on the way back to Washington with no snow chains... there's only one thing we have in our minds.
We're so glad we took this trip. We both LOVED it so much so that we're looking forward to take more road trips in the future.
We didn't realize we were making beautiful memories that we're gonna cherish forever, we just knew we were having fun.
