I'm impressed with how the writers were able to keep the "mysterious locked door in the basement" story line simmering for so long on the back burner while attending to other plots. After hinting about it almost from the very beginning of the series, the writers took around 190 episodes before they started fully exploring it. I guess that's an example of the long view planning that's such an essential part of serialized storytelling.
Someone needs to send Mrs. Johnson to the cellar stat. The cobwebs down there are thick enough to weave silk out of them! LOL. I like how Sam keeps threatening Roger like he wouldn't be in trouble himself. Hey Einstein, you'd go to jail too! Suddenly Roger seems to have forgotten this fact. Sam needs to realize he peed away his chance for recognition when he traded the paintings for blood money. Plus if he squeals I doubt this woman will want to display art drawn by a man embroiled in controversy. Either way, him missing his chance seems like poetic justice to me.
Mrs. Johnson would have a field day with this newcomer. I wonder where she is and if Burke has forgotten his plan for revenge. I thought that didn't make a very strong storyline given that he was so frequently interacting with the Collins during the Matthew and Laura crises...
Wonder if Jason is Carolyns father??? Vicky is too old to be Jason's daughter, But not too old to be Paul Stoddards, or Nick Caulders! or Liz or Paul did something and Jason knows what it is!

HA-HA....Paul McGuire has a big 'STAKE' in the locked room of the basement ! hee hee!
countmeworthy Jason McGuire .. however this actor came back later and played Paul Stoddard
Pattonfrodo I thought it was great casting to have Dennis Patrick play both Jason McGuire AND Paul Stoddard.
Jason is like a festering sore that won't heal.
"Welcome to the basement…" Great line!
Take TWO??!! Wow something must have really gone wrong during take one for them to actually start over. 😮😮
I wish they had saved those out takes.
Oh my goodness ... Evans finally grew a set!
"Welcome to the basement."
Take 2? That's unusual.
This is the third time, I think, so far.
Roger crack me up! Does this help!
The locked room, where Liz keeps jars of her failed rhubarb jellies and jams.
Dennis Patrick a.k.a.the Golden Man on Lost in Space
And aka Vaughn Leland on Dallas.

Poor Liz. She's gone through so much. Had a spell put on her by Laura that sent her to the hospital, now she has to put up with this dirtbag.
Paul Stoddard is hidden in the basement. Elizabeth killed him and Jason is Vicky's father.
+janet lavergne How can Jason be Vicky's father? Isn't she over 20 years old?
+Marlena Diva I guess I didn't think it through. Oops.
Jason McGuire I can see he is going to be a problem at least for Elizabeth
Liz has her own Bruke the other side effects from your own personal hell
SO WHAT the heck is behind that door?
An old trunk :-)
A tourist in he basement. Ha ha!
A pair of bolt cutters anyone?
