I mean a one hit wonder here in the US people were bashing him over the past 3 years. I always felt like he had a special unique style about him that dragged me into a lot of his music. I actually like Daddy a tad more than Gagnam Style.
He has a serious side too, I first saw him on this show called Strong Heart, before Gangnam Style. And I remember he said a story. Forgot what it was about but some deep stuff their, I think. :).It was ages ago.
What I like most about PSY is how it completely destroy the kpop concept of being totally perfect, skinny and these things, you know what I'm sayng ?, and yet it is the most successful still today. PSY? I LOVE IT!
The thing I love most about him is that he's a major success even as an average looking guy, as his talent and _no-fucks-given_ confidence is instantly compelling/inspiring for most people!
The entire ending was perfect: -Daesung's little dance at 11:58 - Taeyang pulling Top's sleeve so that he would move over to the side and let the older men dance at 12:12 - Gdragon (the pro that he is) already five steps ahead of the game and immediately moves to the side at 12:10 -Seungri not catching the memo (or not caring) and filming right behind the two gentlemen on camera at 12:26. Ahh I love them way too much. ❤️❤️

Every time a YG artist perform people are so hyped up also the idols but now idols in mama/mma are like bored or something, they don't have much reaction yet I still love watching idols reaction video hehehehe. I think the reason why MAMA feels incomplete, well at least that's what i feel, is because artists like PSY, BIGBANG, and 2NE1 are not present anymore. But i think I'll get used to it, since it is the new generation of K-Pop. I sorta missed when MAMA was...more entertaining? New artists are also great! Their talents, vocals, dance are definitely top notch! But there's just something about older generation of K-Pop that can't be replaced no matter how amazing the new artists are.
Agree. I used to anticipate and watch MAMA every end of the year on a live stream even there's no eng sub and I can't understand what they're saying. I came for the performances. I even vote on their website lol. But when YG artists stop coming to the show, I lost interest. The last MAMA I watched on a live stream is 2015

People are so preoccupied with Psy's delibrate silly parodies that they fail to see how hardworking this man is Like he literally powered through 3 upbeat songs with only 1min 20s rest (inclusive of him rushing to drink water and breathe) Mind yall, he's 37 years old. His dances for Gangnam Style and Daddy is looks easy but is not easy I assure you. One of the key points in Daddy dance (7:47) is not easy. It resembles a fundamental move of ballet (I used to be in my school's dance club and we learnt some ballet and I did this before) This move is tiring as hell especially for the leg muscles and requires so much control and practice. Yet, he was able to do it with his chubby body and still be in sync with THE YG dancers (who are all young adults). Do consider his figure and weight as he does these dances. I think he needs an award on how hard he works - tho again this period of fame is what he has been waiting for for 16 years. ON THE OTHER HAND, can we just appreciate our YG Female dance crew 'CRAZY' holy shit. Their bodies and their dance skills. urgh my gosh. Any video of his I've seen, he really looks like he is giving it everything. Very admirable! Plus, as you said, as we age, and with his body type, that does making dancing harder. Also, he is a heavy smoker! That would make it even harder. Of course, 37 isn't super-old or anything. I was a bit older when I started to feel old, in the sense of body pains and stuff....I think I more like 41 or so. But, of course, it's different for everyone, so he could have had the body aches and pains then, at 37, and I wouldn't be surprised if he did, because although he is beautiful, he is not a person - from what I can tell - interested in health, he is a heavy smoker, heavy drinker, etc. So... ...so, yeah, at that age, and being not interested in health, and being a big drinker and smoker, it is amazing! In all honesty, All Psy's comebacks have been so kick ass! He's a great Singer and a great dancer for a 38 year old Korean man! His songs are always so catchy and fun to learn! I wish the crowd was a bit more energetic. He really did try his best at Mama's and deserved a better crowd. ♡ Although I did enjoy seeing Big Bang and Monsta X jamming out.

In all honesty, All Psy's comebacks have been so kick ass! He's a great Singer and a great dancer for a 38 year old Korean man! His songs are always so catchy and fun to learn! I wish the crowd was a bit more energetic. He really did try his best at Mama's and deserved a better crowd. ♡ Although I did enjoy seeing Big Bang and Monsta X jamming out.
