This band and song have gotten me (and ofc most of us on here) through some of the darkest times of our youths in the 2000a and now growing up in our late 20s and now 30s. Every time I come back to listen to this song, it brings me back to my wonderful teenage years in middle/high school when I first discovered We The Kings. Oh how much I miss living with my family in a pretty suburban area and jamming out in a garage listening to pop punk with the other kids in the neighborhood during the host summer afternoons :(((

As much as I love these Pop-Rocky/Pop-Punky songs, Can't deny the fact that most of these bands sounds exactly the same, We The Kings, Cartel, Yellow Card, Blink 182, Green Day, Sum 41, Simple Plan........there's pretty much no vocal OR instrumental difference between any of them. But!, gotta love how catchy some of these choruses are :)

Minor differences maybe, but distinctive?...not exactly. every early 2000's Pop-Punk front man has the same nasally voice, ridiculous amount of emo, cheesy " i loved this girl but we grew apart" lyrical style. The only difference I see between the bands you "distinctively" named are the fact that Yellowcard incorporates a violin, Blink 182's bass player is a primary lead singer and Greenday tends to occasionally have more meaningful lyrics.
