I appreciate you saying that. I would feel the same for Giants fans if the roles were reversed. Remember: the A’s were the ones that saved the Giants from relocating by gifting them the rights to San Jose. Would have been nice if the Giants organization returned the favor. Had local celebrities pitching, win prizes for hitting cardboard cut outs of outfielders. Eat some Carl's Jr. I cut that ad out so fast! Begged my Mom forever to go to this thing. Finally got to go! Got checked in, get on the field. I'm standing around looking at who's bat to use! (all too heavy). Waiting my turn to bat. Then I hear the voice of god announce my name, where I'm from! The whole day was insane. Different from little league days from years past. Felt like a pro that day!

As a Giants fan I’m sad for As fans. I now live in Sacramento, I can see it as a tough position to be in. I don’t blame Sacramento for bringing them in, it’s an economic boost for the city at the expense of an entire fan base. All negativity and hate should really be directed in one direction FISHER.

I am incredibly sad that the Athletics are moving. My first baseball memory is of Reggie Jackson hitting a home run in a World Series. My first football memory is of watching the Baltimore Colts play the Oakland Raiders in a playoff game. I was watching tv in the Autumn of 1989 when the earthquake hit. Baseball was my favorite sport and still is. I'm a long time Giants fan from Kentucky but so many sports memories come from the Oakland Coliseum. I watched Ricky Henderson play as young player in a double header against Cleveland in the old Municipal Stadium. I could go on and on but I refer back to my opening statement.
Hi Brodie, I am heart broken too. One of your previous videos about what this situation does to the psychology and mental health of A's fans, has helped me with how to deal with this situation. I changed my opinion on this: now a I think that the City of Oakland should have covered the remaining cost of developing the surrounding area of Howard Terminal Ballpark, because is a great investment to infrastructure and future economy, and most importantly, its 100% worth it. If I was Oakland, I will contact the A's and offer to cover the remaining costs of developing the surrounding area of Howard Terminal and also suggest the A's to use the money that they got from selling their part of the Coliseum and invest independently around the ballpark as well. And yes, have the Oakland A's and Roots play at the coliseum meanwhile. Win win win win situation.
I'm a diehard A's fan. Discovered this channel last year during all the move discussions/votes/shenanigans. This may be it for me as someone who cares about MLB. I think that's an unfair thing to say about John lester. He didn't ask to be traded to oakland. We were in a playoff chase and he helped us get there in 2014, with a winning record and a low earned run average. He started the wild card game against Kansas city and left with a 7-3 lead that the bullpen blew and we lost in extra inning. He said he was proud to wear the green and gold, even for that short period of time.
@@John-vb8lb Lester was unable to throw to first base and was massively exposed during the playoff push. His body language and answers during interviews made it clear that he didn’t want to be on the team. He did not pitch well when it mattered most. Just my opinion. Many A’s fans agree.

I still feel that the A’s will never make it to Las Vegas thus that be the turning point in which John Fisher won’t be the A’s owner anymore because the other owners aren’t going to put up with this since this fiasco is delaying the MLB & the other owners future plans. I’m not saying that the A’s will stay (or return) to Oakland but Sacramento & Utah are still a solid threat to have that franchise.
