Thanks for watching! 😀💗 - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
You really DON'T want a Pine Martin as a pet....... they're savage
Yup. Most Mustelids are feisty little buggers
@@sbntd They all are.
1:13 - all of us boomers shouting “ RINGS-NOT GOLD COINS” !
Poor Siobhan left us for the US straight after this, and calling our huge, fat hedgehogs “ softball sized” didnt help🤷♂️
Hedgehogs are not kept as pets in the UK, they are wild animals. American Robins are a type of thrush, UK Robins are more like sparrows. Tit is just a word for small in old English, from Titmouse, many varieties of small birds. Pine Martens are a type of wild ferret, similar to Stoats & Weasels, which we also have in the UK. There are several other animals she didn't mention, like the Badger, which is much cuter than the American badger.
Well you're not going to be mauled to death by a pack of wild squirrels 😂 unlike the USA bears wolves snakes poisonous spiders ffs and the rest of the wildlife 😂my favourite favourite is the 🦔
Says the pub landlord.
Pine martins are mustalids same family as stoats , weasels , polecat / ferret , badgers and wolverines !
You should check out the British badger. Quite a large animal I saw one roaming around the building I lived in. There lovely looking.
You can tell the difference between a snake and a slow worm. Snakes _cannot_ blink. Slow worms _can_ blink. 🙂🏴❤️🇬🇧🖖
They can't blink? 😅 interesting!!
@@Kayla.burlin
No, snakes don't have the sort of eyelids which can open and close, though they do have a protective layer like an eyelid, it doesn't allow blinking.
Slow worms (not sure of the spelling, sorry) are actually 'legless lizards' and their eyelids do allow blinking, (like ours) which enables you to identify them as not being real snakes, they just _look_🐍 like snakes at first glance.... I'm not explaining it very well, sorry. But Google will know!!🙂🇬🇧
Some species get introduced to a country and thrive. The Normans introduced rabbits to England; very nutritious to eat and they breed like... well, rabbits. A common sight is the muntjac, a small deer (roughly the size of a Labrador) which is originally from China. On the Great Orme near Llandudno in north Wales is a flock of Himalayan mountain goats. Their forebears were a gift to Queen Victoria. During Covid when everything was closed the goats came down from the Great Orme and started wandering around Llandudno. You'll find videos of them both in groups and solo. Changing the subject, have a look at "mudlarking" on the Thames.
I subscribed a while ago. Anyone who likes us poor British is instantly family 🙂🏴
We have all these animals in Sweden too 🙂
Sweden is gorgeous 🤩🏞️
Here i go again trying my best to this young ladies channel to explode, if anyone reading this comment isn't subscribed, please, please, please subscribe, our girl seems to be such a nice person (and she's beautiful)
You've helped so much!😊. I think you've got me at least 10 new subscribers from the last comment😅❤❤
@@Kayla.burlin you are so welcome sweetheart
@bobbie- persuade people to open several gmail accounts, it only.......
... takes a minute!
@@neilpowis7488 😉or William😂😂💗 you're funny!
What about badgers? I'm sure they are not in the Americas? Regarding snakes we only have 2 species, which are ultra rare, I have never seen 1, or do I know has seen 1. The most dangerous wildlife here in UK is a gigantic bird nickname 'Psycho Seagull'. Latin genus 'snapyourchipus'. Common habitat is seaside towns, were they swoop down & steal your fish & chips, resorting to your child out of the stroller or small dog if they are particularly ravenous. You Americans are much safer with your cute little Teddy Bears & crusty grumpy not proper crocodiles...... Oh yeah! LOL!
Yup we have badgers here, but only in certain areas. The area I live in we do have to worry about bears, but not as much as the vulture, or poisonous snakes. I've only ever seen 1 bear and it got hit by a car.. Snakes tho, 😭...every year
@@Kayla.burlin Gulp! I am staying put Girl!
@@Kayla.burlinyour badgers are completely different looking to ours.. ours look like big fluffy cuddly toys☺️
We have Scottish Wildcats that are amazing wee hunters. Not aggressive towards humans or that, but would say probably the most endangered and wild’ish animals and most we have, closely followed by the psychotic gulls😑😂
There's 3 species of British snakes, Adder, Grass Snake and Smooth Snake.
Completely missed out Badgers and Red Deer.
We have badgers not sure about red deer tho!
@@Kayla.burlinI’m pretty sure they mean the European badger more specifically, Which are omnivorous and usually live in more wooded regions, while American badgers are carnivores and are found in areas more similar to grasslands.
Hedgehogs are not for pets. they are wild animals and they hibernate in the winter.
the robin is the british national bird they are protected by law
Robins aren’t the British national bird, they often come top of British peoples favourite birds but there s no law designating them as such. The Wildlife and Countryside act protects almost every bird.
I like the small mountain Haggis.
Ha ha, very rare these days
Hi Kayla, hedgehogs are cute but are noisy lovers.
They always seem to choose the quietest hours at night and leave a disproportionate mess when you venture outside in the morning.
When you look at the size of a male, it is hard to believe he can even make that much mess!!
Loved the little giggle at tits, especially your surprise when she caught you out.
Aweeee 😂💗yea i could imagine they could get annoying! And yup I got caught 😭🤣
You don't have European Hedgehogs. x
You have the American Grey squirrels back and we will have the Hedgehogs
actually the pine martins are beating the greys, because our red have lived ad learned, the greys havent been here long enough to learn s they are food more tha reds
@Greenwood4727 Ho good Nature has its way. But are their enough Pine Martins to make much of a Difference
Hedgehogs are sweet! But keep your fingers off - they have sharp spines and they really are very full of fleas, ticks, and every sort of small nasty there is. They are also surprisingly swift of foot and a bit larger than this lady suggested. When attacked they curl into a ball which absolutely drove our dog wild when she found one. "I wanna eat - OUCH! But I wanna eat - OUCH! But I wanna - " She never learned.
Just commenting about this on another reaction that they don’t show Scottish Wildcats or our badgers in this. You should defo google them to have a wee look, they’re too cute🥰☺️
I'll check it out now!😊
OMG!! They are literally the cutest!!! They look like house cats😊💗
The British Red Squirrels are beautiful and friendly but very rare because of the Gray Squirrels. The Pine Marten actually likes to kill and eat the Gray North American Squirrel but doesn't touch its fellow British Squirrel. That's poetic justice in my book! Lol
🤣😂💗
There are hedgehogs in the US, but none that are native to the US. She just made a mistake there
Hedgehogs are not native to North or South America, so those that live in the U.S. are typically African pygmy hedgehogs, which are domesticated and sold as pets.
The grey squirrel is so plentiful in my area that they will walk with you.
Pine martens don't eat pine cones, they are named that because their favourite habitat are pine trees. Even though they 'look cute', they are quite vicious, but VERY reclusive and come out at night, so rarely encountered. Being carnivorous, they will small mammals (like mice, voles and similar), birds, insects too! They will also eat fruit, or dead animals, but they now eat GREY squirrels (good for the native RED squirrels, which are quicker and can escape).... By the way, second video of yours, and now subscribed. 😊 👍👍👍
Thanks for subscribing! 😊. I kinda figured those little guys weren't so nice 😂it's always the cute animals that are so vicious 😂😂
Hi Kayla , nice video , reminds me that when i was a lad , in the 60s and 70s im afraid lol , you used to see lots of butterflies and ladybirds (ladybugs to you lol ) even sometimes a yellow one, but you dont see them anymore , at least not in Birmingham UK , Global Warming i suppose , or theyve left cos we are bankrupt lol , keep em coming 🤣🤣👍👍
Subscribed now..
Sorry to join you so late.🏴🙂❤️🇬🇧🖖
Don't be sorry there is much more to come!😊
Nice one girl enjoyed very much.
Thanks!😊
You should check out more anglophenia vids.
She's very entertaining and informative.
✌❤🇬🇧
Why are you giggling? 😂
The word tit 😂
Yes, hedgehogs are not native to the Americas
Looks like a regular bird yyou know really
I don't know if you can get European Hedgehogs in US pet shops. The only species I've heard of that's available there is the African Pygmy Hedgehog.
Ahhh ok!!😊
Kayla we have a country folklore about robins is that if you have one around your garden It is a passed loved one paying you a visit.
That's sweet😊💗!! Anytime I see a monarch butterfly 🦋 I think of my grandma😊
@1:18 …I am CEO of Hedgehog Imports here in the USA. What this lady says are lies lies lies, it is Illegal to import hedgehogs!! Unless for conscription
Badgers! What happened to badgers?
We have badgers here too😅
Not native, but does U S have muntjac deer?
The most disturbing thing is this video is that the reactor said that you could buy hedgehogs is pet shops, is this correct or did I misunderstand?
Yes. We can buy African pygmy hedgehogs from pet shops..
Unfortunately so many hedgehogs get squashed by cars on the road.
🥺
Squirrels are just rats with a makeover.
😂😂
