I libe in Alberta, Canada. I was reviewing the sex ed curriculum for Grade 7 last year. In the side notes for teachers, it said that virginity is a social construct.
I chose to use my right to exempt my daughter from the class. We have discussed most of the curriculum with her at home and made sure to point out how we as Christiansndon't agree with the curriculum in many points that it makes.
This year she thought she would be the only one sitting out but her class is split Grade 7/8 and she was able to sit out with a Grade 7 girl. They got to have conversations about their faith and my daughter was able to be an encouragement to the other girl who is new to our school.
Being a Christian these days might be minority but it doesn't mean that we journey alone. I'm glad my daughter is using the opportunity to sit out of a lesson to be a catalyst for her sharing her faith.

@@georgewagner7787 The whole thing is because we, Christians, pretend that Jesus didn't give a clear command before he ascended to Heaven. He said to go and make disciples. He didn't say to go and make church goers or fill churches. Nowadays, we make spectators and building fillers. Then we bottle feed them entertainment to keep them awake while forgetting that they too have to be equipped to go and make more disciples.

@Kwildcat13 our faith is not to be watered down to draw non-believers into the church. Our job as believers is to lovingly proclaim the Gospel and know that the Holy Spirit will bring people to Jesus and repentance. There is absolutely nothing that people do of their own volition that brings people to Christ. Only the Holy Spirit does that and it's not through talking about football excessively at church. It's through Christians reading God's word. End of story ❤️

Finally, the LORD released us. So thankful for our church now, a true BIBLE preaching and believing church.

I was on staff at a church like this. I was the director of accounting. There was a production for everything. I went to the church first before I came on staff for 3 years. I left and it damaged my ability to feel at ease in a church for years. I never left God, but I had a very hard time trusting a church and pastors. Being the director of accounting, I saw everything in terms of finances. It’s insaaaane how much tithe money is spent on pure unnecessary foolishness. And don’t get me started on what is spent on the senior pastor. And I was asked several times to move numbers around when it was time to report stuff to the members, so even though they reported it, it wasn’t correct. I’m in a much better place today and attend a great church.

Sometimes the Bible wasn't opened for the whole service!! I am so happy that Grand Canyon University is one of your new sponsors! My husband is an Associate Vice President at Grand Canyon. They have treated our family amazingly for the past 12 years. When the government tried to mandate vaccines for large companies, GCU allowed employees to transition to work from home and supported their families.
Brian Mueller gives raises every year and encourages his employees to serve God and others. He and his wife came to our previous church because our pastor was also an employee of GCU, and he wanted to support his ministry.
We are so thankful to God for GCU. They do such amazing things for the community, for students, and for their employees.

Super Bowl Sunday… at the church my husband and I currently attend… it was jersey Sunday. The pastors had on jerseys, promoting Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift and others. The teaching was presenting Jesus as a champion with multitudes of examples trying to parallel Scripture to the game. I wanted to bolt out of the assembly. The lady behind me, whom I do not know, said “I came to church, not a football party”. A tailgate party was held at the church later in the day. I am praying for the leadership , agreement between my husband and myself to find a Bible teaching church body that reverences the Lord.

I really appreciate your candor and willingness to speak truth according to God's holy scriptures. Thank you!
Years ago, I was an adult chaperone joining my high school daughter and her youth group on a trip through Cincinnati. We stopped at Crossroads church for Sunday morning service. It was such a grievous experience, and later many of us leaders spent time explaining to the kids that we'd just sat through a theater production with no spiritual substance. Half of the neophyte high schoolers loved all the excitement provided and beverages, while the others watched in confusion as the recklessness unfolded before them at the altar. We were all FOREVER impacted. My daughter is now a young adult walking with God and highly alert for this type of 'church programming.' She's quick to identify irreverent behavior and call it out according to God's word. Praise God, He kept her!

Hi Allie! I LOVE your podcast and appreciate you so very much! You are my favorite and I learn so much from you ❤
Interesting path for me and Crossroads church. I grew up Christian but we would go to churches that I felt were judgemental and I had a hard time connecting with God. Long story short, I found a more contemporary style church that pulled my heart back towards God and I started connecting to Him. When I lived in Cincy, I found Crossroads and loved it! This church does do a lot of good including sound teaching. However, they have a history of taking it to an extreme. The interesting part is that I was the person who gave church another chance after being hurt by other churches. That’s who Crossroads markets to. During my time attending, there were many instances I would get frustrated. I started to see how at times relating to the culture was more important than reverence for God. I have chosen a different church now, but I still do have respect and appreciation for Crossroads. But I chose not to make it my church home bc of stints like this. I am SO bothered by this Super Bowl show. I’m glad they didn’t actually kick the Bible, but still very disappointed that’s what they made it look like. I am mortified over the music. This is not worship or honoring to God. Im embarrassed and I hope Crossroads learns from this mistake and makes wiser choices in the future. I pray the Holy Spirit convicts the leaders of this church to stop idolizing culture, fun and entertainment over God and teaching His gospel. I think it’s wonderful and evangelical to have fun at church, but not prioritized over honoring God through reverence, worship and biblical teaching. God is so big though and He worked in my heart while at Crossroads and I know He’s doing so with many people. I felt compelled to comment bc I appreciated your response but also have experience with the church. Lots of people commented feeling judged and defending Crossroads, so wanted to share my thoughts. We can appreciate the good things about Crossroads while also not condoning these actions. Sin is sin, and we need to recognize it! Thank you for your AMAZING podcast Allie!

I actually feel distressed by this, and even by the fact that Ally’s assistant is laughing at the “stupidity” of this. The fact is that this is profoundly disturbing. It is not simply a gimmick, distasteful though that would be, it brazenly ignores the fact that many men and women, through the centuries, have given their lives for the word of God. William Tyndall was burned at the stake for translating the Bible into English. The gospel of John begins with the words, “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.” How precious to us is the word of God. May we learn to value properly and treat with due honour and respect, the word that brings life, truth and salvation. May we crave a heart and attitude towards the word like that of the psalmist in Psalm 119.

It’s wild what Protestantism has led to. Even the “Bible believing” churches deny the Eucharist is the Body and Blood of our Lord and Savior when Christ literally said the following: “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you do not have life within you.
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day.
For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink.
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him.
Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me.
This is the bread that came down from heaven. Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died, whoever eats this bread will live forever.” John 6:51-58

Aye carumba. Lots of craziness in this world. First of all I want to say this podcast was awesome, and I'm so glad you're bringing this stuff to light. I love how you incorporated scripture with your message about combatting fear in a world where fear is used to manipulate and control us. I also like that you highlighted what Planned Parenthood is up to because people need to know! And yeah, it's way more nefarious than just giving confused people what they want! I also think pedophiles might be behind this strange push on children. I love your heart, and I totally see where you're coming from with the death penalty stuff. I think sometimes the government gets things wrong, and I think sometimes it could be more of a punishment to let them suffer in prison, but if you see statistics that show that putting people to death stops them from doing that stuff (murdering, raping), then I would be all for it. It's also a big expense to pay to house and feed people their entire lives. As far as punting the Bible, what the heck?! Just kinda stupid. Why the people? Yes, we should have more reverence for the Word of God and God himself. The Word became flesh in the form of Jesus. That's a big deal. Love your podcast. Not sure if it's geared towards just girls or moms, but it's great what you're doing. If I ever found out a woman I liked or was dating watched your podcast my opinion of her would go through the roof.

As a veteran, I don't think I'll be attending church anymore on Memorial Day, Veterans Day, or the Fourth of July weeks. I am so tired of hearing the pledge of allegiance, recognizing the veterans in the church, and even hearing the song, " God bless America." I'm not at church to celebrate a nation or people. I don't even stand when veterans are called to stand for recognition. I even told my pastor why I don't stand anymore. I truly believe there we need to be fighting national and political idolatry in our lives and churches.

Something that I realized in working with students, is that they are not always honest about what they say they can or do talk to their parents about. Alot of times, the child doesn't feel comfortable talking to their parents (through no overt fault of their parents). Parents should be made aware that their children are asking staff for sex advice or education on their growing bodies. Then you can see whether the parents are uncomfortable about it, or genuinely thankful that they can now talk to their children.

    There is validity here.
The Bible is filled with admonishments not to give into secular compromise, that can lead to eternal damnation.
Read chapter 1 to 3 in the Bible, and see how are Lord Christ is sternly admonishing the churches, not to compromise.
You can also find this in the letters of Paul, e.g. Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians.
    Blessings.

The word of God is solid. Unchanging. It doesn’t need silly and inappropriate supplementation to make it “fun”. Here’s an example. I was a teacher for 5 years and I can tell you from experience, the “overly fun” and “crazy” and “wacky” teachers that would go above and beyond in that way would attract the students at first. But later in the year, when it came down to which teachers the kids actually trusted for something important (learning struggling, bullying, problems at home, etc), the kids never went to the fun and wild teachers. They were too disconnected. Same with unbelievers. You can attract them with shiny things but they will never learn to go to God with real serious issues in those churches. Those wild pastors don’t have time for real issues in the church, they are too busy purchasing set props. There’s a church like this in South Florida (in Coral Springs). I wonder if it still operates this way. Hopefully not!

The left wing vs. right wing paradigm has been a massive psy-op on patriots.
    John Adams was correct:
"There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution."

I've heard this trope of 'virginity is not real' for some time now. It's ridiculous. We know which spirit hates purity and virginity.
Christianity has always held virginity in high regard. (here a disclaimer in case someone may be wondering: the violence doesn't take away the virtue of virginity per the ancient Church Fathers' teachings, so it's always about the moral decision of the person to willfully and freely give it away).
Material virginity is a visible sign of spiritual virginity, but obviously it's not where the essence of virginity lies. In some cases, if the loss of physical integrity is involuntary such as by a violent act (of we all know which one), but also cases like accident or sickness, the virginity is still intact, for its moral and spiritual. These cases, however, as exceptions and are relatively rare. For the _majority_ of women, physical integrity is aligned with moral virginity. And just because there's the exceptional situations, they don't negate the general rule.

Would love to subscribe to Blaze Tv and give it a whirl, sadly not seeing it as an app on my LG tv. Will be keeping an eye out for that and I'm finding these shows and messages so powerful. Amazingly I shared similar opinions on "social media's facebook" months ago and was instantly censored and "suspended as a user" for 6 months because apparently taking a biblical stance and standing up for what you belief in can be considered "false news" or "hate speech". So nice to come across shows like this that restore and recharge one's beliefs.

Thanks you for what you do exposing heretical churches. 25 years in evangelical churches. I RAN back to Catholicism two years ago and now my husband will be brought into the church this Easter vigil. We were watching you tonight and when you referenced Catholics we had to laugh. My best friend and her husband (former evangelicals) will also become Catholic this Easter. We all got ashes yesterday and drawn to the reverence, repentance etc. I take heart that I’m celebrating a mass very much like my ancestors did and have never felt closer to God. I know your feelings about the Catholic Church but you wouldn’t need to run out of service. They would never ever kick a Bible. That was hard to watch,

Would never kick a Bible? Your the only denomination that in the past burned them and Christians. Weird take, you think a man in a cool hat gets to change what is right. Did you know Catholics weren't allowed to read Bibles until the 1900s? But worse of all the Catholic church doesn't believe your saved through faith in Jesus alone. Which means you aren't even a Christian. You don't pray right because some Pope had a dream that went against Scripture and decided the dream was more important than the word of God. Yes they won't kick a Bible but they're also trying to take the place of God. Just like those weird pentecostal churches.
