    Hello! Amazing tutorial! Just had a question. Can this be used on cars without a normal map? For example the Murcielago has taillight that already has the bumps so can it use it?

    So just to confirm...
    The external lens is the outside of the light which includes the normal map
    The internal large part is the reflector is not emissive
    And the light bulb is another third material which is emissive?

      Yes! light bulbs is recommended to have it but not necessary if the 3d model doesn't have it 😀😀

    do you know how to sync them with signals? l can only get my signal lights working as hazzards, they won't blink individually.

      Because you need to create another specific (REFRACTION) section for the desired side, not all within the same parameter, I had the same problem a while ago and I solved it like this 😁😁

      @@Alexa_SuperSprint620R No need to do that at all, if u wanna make indicators u can have inside and glass for both sides as one mesh. So for example lets say: "headlights_indicator_inside" (both left and right side) and "headlights_indicator_glass" (again both left and right side) just setup refraction for one side and enable the thing called mirror 3 and 4 channel. Then on the ext config u add "channel = 3" to for emissive left side and channel = 4 to right side, or the other way around. No need to seperate meshes to the sides xd

      @@magnum7068 You can always create it from scratch, its the most recommended, you will have to create UV maps in 3ds Max, to later adjust the textures 😄

      4:15 copy settings, go to note pad file (ext_config) and paste, if it doesnt work for you, send me your configuration to check it

      Yes, and to have good quality it has to have a size of 1024x1024 or higher

      Same process, you need a reflector and a glass, the latter has to have NM textures

      Move the cursor to the right side of the screen and all applications will appear 😁
