- In this video, we are discussing a problem with Tata electrical vehicles i.e. Ev.
Tata motors India has the biggest collection of electrical vehicles in India. They have their best seller Tata Nexon EV, Tata Tigor EV, and the newly launched TATA Tiago EV.
this video will help all the electrical vehicle owners in India.
Hi Ajinkya, i am Tata Nexon EV owner myself and faced the same issue of charge being stuck at 98%. Happened when i tried to start AC during fast charging in an ABB make Zeon charger in Kerala. The issue sorted by itself after i did a slow charge once i reach my destination in Kerala. I had made made multiple long trips from Bangalore to Kerala, Goa and Pondicherry and would say yes it needs a bit of planning and sometimes a little patience when some error comes in the charging and also due to longer time due to additional charging stops. But the drive and ride comfort is unmatched and i have really enjoyed switching to electric car from ICE vehicles. Also the trip cost is reduced by almost 60-70%(2.2 rupees/km) due to electric drivetrain. In city driving there is no such issues if you have a home ac charger and the cost/km will be a rupee or less per km.
While it's a caution to ev owners, it's the company's fault that the glitch happened. The system has enough sensors but not able to figure out or recalibrate after some time that the metrics are incorrect. Stop being lenient for such egregious issues.
He was extremely lucky that it's stopped in front of the charging station; if it would've stopped some 20 km away from the closest station, the tone and conclusion would be completely different.

Bro I am also EV fan but u use fast charger for long distance travel and you don't have to wait too much time, so if we are charging car for 40 mins and again waiting for it for 10 mins, thats time wastage. And people also say that after long traveling, dont charge it immediately abd here we are not just charging we are using fast chargers.
Like Prudent Smart phone charging where it's better to charge not more than 85% for a healthy battery life and to recharge once it hit below 15%, the same logic apply here also.. Moreover after every three fast charging it's mandatory to plug it under normal 15Amp socket charging which is slow charging, to have a better battery maintenance.
bro In one weak Atleast 1 full charge Required by Tata Motors guideline , So Its Not Harmfull for Charging Battery till 100% . Dont Compare mobile with ev

In Bengaluru, due to traffic there are some roads where you have to drive on the same direction...but not on all the roads...i think you understood it.
This point is there in owner manual to wait for 10 min after changing then start driving

In charging battery, battery temp increases. Sudden acceleration and high speed drains high current from battery which raises temperature of battery. To avoid fire in battery precautions should be taken.

If u go straight without waiting....it's fine... don't want trips with anxiety n tension.

Loved ur video. Loved ur language and the way u speak. I'm from Bangalore, and an ev user past 7 years. I have Mahindra e20 with me. Yes. I had noticed this glitch in my car too.. it took me some 2 years to realise why my car wud act a bit crazy, immediately after a full charge..

In bangalore there are a lot of one ways. These roads become one way over night . Even maps can not get it right all the time

Yes.. nowadays I am seeing some problem with maps.. I am from Bangalore but got lost due to maps..
In Bengaluru, I personally have seen 03 roads where the rule is to "KEEP RIGHT", while in most of the roads rule is like in the Rest of India to "KEEP LEFT"! To be honest, I have never used Googlemaps in Bengaluru.

240 km range kam hai .... mere liye kam se kam 300 km chahiye aur ek problem charging ki hai chhote shahar kasbo mai charging ki suvidha nahi hai .... upar se agar gaadi kahi bigad gai to mechanic kaha milega .... khichkar pata nahi kitni door le jana padega... mujhe nahi lagta ki ev ka mechanic har jagah mil jayega
You should not charge as soon as you stopped vehicle, you have to wait at least 10 minutes

Byd uses totally different battery system....its lithium ion phosphate..blade technology which is safety in heavy heat or any case..
Tata uses lithium ion battery...which is okay but not as safe as BYD battery....

@@evkagyan8598 it helps in maintaining a constant speed helping the range. Normal person can't do that effectively, hence, it can increase range for most of the cars.

In the beginning we were going towards nexon ev or tigor ev (but i think in the next few years technology will develop to a point that we can expect real 400km range in that price point; around 17 to 20) so we then moved toyota hyryder (strong hybrid).
But thanks to the new launch, we can use tata taiago ev (medium model) for 4 to 5 years and then buy a good suv car without regretting our decision in the future.
It has also opened a new path for us; we can now install 3kw to 5kw solar panels with the amount saved form not going with tigor or nexon.
Can you make a video when tiago ev comes out, how financially effective will it be compared to ice or cng variant in the same price range. Because tigor ev takes few years before it becomes a more viable financial option than tigor cng.

Some also say to wait before charging after long travel. So wait before charging, wait while charging, wait after charging. All this doesn't make sense and is simply a waste of time. EV is fine but it's still not evolved enough for actually practical use. This is like using a china mobile. You never know what's going to happen next.
