Hi Tony, great review. I bought a K6 S at the weekend and while I too was a little between sizes (L & XL), I eventually went with the L which has worked out well as it was quite comfortable during my first spin over a 1 hr period. I have a question, at 4.07 in your video you show the Intercom slots in the helmet, does the helmet come with a filler/packer for these (to reduce noise) when purchased? I found that there was quite a bit of wind noise during the ride and wondered if pads should have been included (assuming an intercom system wasn't being fitted immediately). The other thing I noticed was that the small plastic bottle in the box (for silicon oil for the hinge) was empty - Is this standard practice with a new helmet? Finally, I was very interested in your comments on the AGV ARK - what system would you recommend for this helmet (straight out of the box) that would be seen as versatile?
Hi, thanks for the kind comment on the review. I've just checked and there's nothing filling the recesses in the helmet as standard. On intercoms, it depends what you need comms to do. Cardo units are generally most popular with riders and will feat neatly to a K6-S a self-adhesive pad. If you just want connection to your phone for calls and music then a Spirit HD will be great. A Freecom 4X would give you a better chance for connecting to another rider and the Packtalk Edge is the most popular advanced choice for all of the above and also group riding. I've pasted links to each below. And the silicone bottle should not be empty. I'd recommend revisiting your dealer to explain and I'd hope they can source you a fresh bottle. If you bought from us then please message support@sportsbikeshop.co.uk with your order number to explain the issue. I hope this helps. @@sportsbikeshop Hi Tony, thanks very much for your very detailed response. I'm glad to report that the mistake with the oil wasn't made by your company - I was back on to the shop and they are sorting me out (bikers are great people to deal with!!!)... Great advice on the intercoms - I looked at reviews of the 'Cardo Packtalk Edge' and it looks like a great long-term investment; so, I will probably go for that when I purchase. Keep up the reviews, they are a great help to people like me who are not very familiar with what's out there when it comes to purchasing bike accessories. 👍

I had no problems with noise when I wore this helmet, mostly on a Suzuki GSX-S1000GT and also a short spell on a GSX-8R. It could well be different for you, though, because noise depends so much on factors other than the helmet itself. Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers, Tony
The nice and tall profile of the chin bar should help redirect air away from the neck. Too many bikes these days have stubby chins to make the helmet look smaller and that can increase turbulence underneath
Picked up one of these in your Glasgow store a few days ago... couldnt believe how light it was! Great review Tony 👍
Another quality review. Thank you Tony.
I have one. Love it.

Great review but what is the view like when tucked into a corner and the upper vision?
I found the vision to be excellent in all regards. Cheers, Tony
how about the noise?

is this the successor of AGV Corsa R?
Yes - a sporty road helmet that sits one rung down from the Pista. Cheers, Tony
