I agree the A line jumps could have been bigger as you often need to scrub speed unless you're a very proficient jumper and get moerse airtime.
I encourage more flow trails to be built here in SA and especially the Cape. I love flow with big, safe jump lines.
Put an up lift of that trail of some sort from the short cut and you have an awesome flow trail to session.

i enjoy your content and share your dark sense of humour, but why be such a nancy over things like this all the time? It's like you cant help it haha. Someone there really did take a kak in your coffee didn't they?
Cant we just be cool about the fact that these exist, are built and maintained very well and are always busy. Hell, we are lucky to have them as part of all the other awesome trial systems in CT. Yes, these are not some of the most difficult trials/features there are compared to some of the places you visit around the world. But you also need to consider that you are basically in suburbia there - "family land" - and with the average dad on his XC bike, comes little future shredders who want to jump everything....10 year olds that will make us all look silly.
I think these trials are awesome in that regard. You get to repeat those 5000 manicured jumps in quick succession, and some other things along they way. So you'll get comfortable with it real fast. I would have given anything to have this sort of thing growing up on a bike. Instead we jumped pavements with crates and plywood or fell down stairs on rigid PnP bikes. These are meant to cater for a wide range of skill levels - obviously. A complete noob can roll down there and not die and still enjoy himself, and someone like you can try and go down it as fast as possible without making excuses about the wind haha.
Or just go ride Jonkers 24/7 and bask in the pseudo hardcoreness? That will get boring fast too. I understand that you have a preference for natural trials, but variety is awesome in my opinion. Don't be so quick to kak on other peoples fun because you don't rate it for whatever reason. Be lekker.
PS: And please don't use our lord satan's name in vain.

Excellent video! Thanks man! This was well done :) And I like how the viewer leaves with 2 important points, The Hammer is a lekker trail, and the Club and their marshals don't F#*k around.

Just pointing out that the club's trails are very XC orientated BUT they are also purposefully not maintaining some a bit (like Cobra) so that they can get intentionally rugged. I think you disrespect the Trail builders at Hoogekraal too hard on this one. But thanks for the videos. Super entertaining and awesome that if I hit a new trail I can go see a run-through of it on your channel first.

If you think about it hammer makes sense. A hammer has smothe transitions in its shape, you hit it and you resurface it often to keep it in good condition.

Hi,I have wondered if You maybe have a bike that you want to get rid of that I can buy from you?

Agree: Wind is an issue here (so plan accordingly) and Tygerberg Club is a bit kak. No Sessioning? Really? I also tend to hike my bike up that shortcut is nuts.
Disagree: The gaps aren't big enough. I think here the gist is slow down (flow and don't pedal) and pull up which some people do naturally and others don't. If you boost these jumps they are well spaced out.
    Cheers.

Wayne: on the other hand...I do realise after the past week why the "cult" inference has some validity. And ill admit that it sometimes makes having that board on the front of one's bike a bit of a downer if you don't want to be associated with that kind of thing. And i say this as a new member (purely for convenience). The way they go about certain things 'administratively' is not on, but i contacted them directly and spoke my mind and they have come clean and apologised publicly on that forum we all frequent so I guess it shows things can hopefully change if you are willing to step on some toes. keep up the cool content.

Aah bru! Entertaining as always! Lekka! I'd say I initially had the same sentiment about the jump sizing, but as was said here by others, it caters for the typical/average Tygerberg rider and as youd've seen from the Hammer vids (yes, the name is a bit optimistic too 🙂), most okes don't even clear the jumps. Probably a good thing. I do love Doobran's work (and his riding) - but ja, while making the effort, A & B lines could've been done a bit differently to cater for both A and B line riders. And yes, I hear ya on the relative lack of natural trails! The infamously "dangerous" Cobra is actually more of a contour molesnake... Oh, I slapped that Like like I can laaik to slap an ass 😀

Angry at Karma because the 'cult of Tygerberg' busted you for cloning their membership boards just so you could ride and complain about their well maintained trails? Nee sies man! Make us a lekka video about this story?!

Lol. I came to say the same, douche comment and click baity from an even bigger doos, maybe he lost his membership board through those holes in his ears and it was miraculously cloned through and alternate universe 😂
But yeah. You’re making a name for yourself, ‘cult of tygerberg’ ‘e-bikes can try’ etc etc and then get owned, let’s see what it can come up with next if the most useful word in the vocabulary is ffff..
