I ordered one yesterday, after reading several of the 5 star reviews on first few pages. After placing my order I decided to go back and read more reviews. When I got past the first pages I began to read 1,2 and 3 star reviews. At first I t the panicked thinking I just blew 160 bucks but then I remembered the 100 night return policy. I’m broad shouldered so I got the high loft. I’ll let you guys know.
I have been sleeping on Talalay latex pillows for around 20 years. I have severe chronic neck and back pain, and I can say unequivocally, the Purple Harmony is the best, most supportive pillow I have ever owned. The other brands I have had are Z by Malouf (horrible quality, overpriced, and does not honor warranty) and Simmons Beautyrest (used to be top notch, but now way too “soft” to be supportive). Yes , the Harmony is worth every penny. In my experience, a latex pillow will last 10-15 years before it starts to flatten at all, as long as you don’t put a heating pad on it (learned the hard way). If Purple creates a latex mattress with the hex grid, I’d probably sell my soul to have one.
I'd like to try them all but the Harmony sounds like the safest bet. Throwing the whole Plush pillow in the wash though, that sounds like a nice time saver.
The Purple Harmony is my favorite pillow from Purple. I like that it comes in two loft options to work for every sleeping positions and that its durable pillow that will last a long time. I really like the hyper elastic polymer material, i think its very unique and comfy.
I think I would really love the Purple Harmony pillow. I love the Purple grid material for a pillow to begin with. The Purple Harmony is a plus for all sleeping positions and is really breathable which sounds like a good night's sleep to me.
Thanks for mentioning how long the pillow lasts. It helps that you are mentioning tips that help you know when it's a good time to check whether your pillow is still in good shape (every 6-8 months)
My favorite color is purple. I've slept on a purple mattress before and absolutely love it. I have their sheets. So comfy. I'd really love to try their pillow. I have neck issues and have yet to find something perfect.
Thanks for this video. I am a petite side sleeper and I actually use the original Purple Pillow. I love how it stays cold to the touch. I am very interested in the Harmony, I'm just waiting for it to go on sale.
I think the Purple Harmony Pillow is a pretty solid choice. Pretty much everything this company makes is good. I think that is because what they do is so different from everyone else. The trial periods are fair, the materials are high quality, and the reviews are good.
The Purple Harmony pillow looks awesome, I like that you have two options in loft. I would use a lower loft as a side sleeper I think this option is awesome! Would love to give this pillow a try, thanks for the great review!
The Harmony sounds the best out of the 3. Except for the cover not being dried in the dryer, and that it has to be spot dried. I do like that I dont have to refluff the pillow but that wouldnt be a deal breaker.
NOT of fan of their bed. but I AM INTERESTED in the Harmony pillow. I think it would be perfect for me as a side sleeper. And I like that it would sleep cool
Fantastic review. I mentioned in prior mattress reviews, how incredible new sleep components are used and the difference over older more commonfoam or feathers. The questions I have concern stacking, as I suffer from reflux and require a more raised head elevation. I'll definitely look at the in depth comparison. Thanks
The harmony will be my choice for Purple pillow as I tend to change my sleep position. The plush is probably too soft. Their 100-night trial period will definitely come in handy! BTW, I tend to keep my pillow longer than suggested times. Do you have any suggestions how to recycle/dispose old pillows, including Purple Harmony pillow? Thank you!
I love Purple products but have not bought any yet. My one concern is price. Second is the smell of the grid material. Some have said it stinks for awhile. I do like these pillows though!!

Right now I'm using the Eli & Elm Side Sleeper pillow thanks to the Sleepopolis reviews! When you went through the washing instructions it made me wonder how I could take care of my Eli and Elm pillow. Last night was the first day of the trial with the side sleeper pillow, so I have some time to do testing, but I've gone back and watched your review of the Eli and Elm pillows to get an idea of how to take care of this pillow, I still have a question. How frequently I should wash the cover? I have a beard and I use moisturizers and oils, so my pillowcases can get pretty dirty. And when I tried to put a pillowcase (or two) on it, the pillow felt hot, and a bit uncomfy. Once again, thanks for your awesome reviews!
Hey Miles! Thanks for your kind words, here comes a looooong response! I know it's kind of a hassle, but I recommend washing your pillowcases and/or cover fabric about once a week (or once every two weeks if this is not possible). This will guard against bacterial buildup, keep allergens at bay, etc. The annoying part, of course, is that you must remove all internal fill every time you want to wash the cover fabric. A small price to pay for support, in the long run, but as someone who owns this exact pillow, I totally relate to the wash care hassle! I suggest stuffing all the fill inside a separate bag so it doesn't get all over the place while you wait for the cover fabric to be done drying. The other thing that's tough about this pillow is that it doesn't fit perfectly inside a standard pillowcase. What I did to remedy this was buy a California King sized pillowcase that's roomy enough to let the pillow breathe, if that makes sense. Additionally, you might want to pick a bamboo-based or silk pillowcase, as these tend to produce less friction on a beard, and can help keep your moisturizer & oils from being absorbed into the fabric. This is a tricky Q for me because I sleep on the Eli & Elm Side Sleepers every night, so I'm a bit biased! But take some time to consider whether you prefer a bouncy-quick response to pressure, or more of a moldable & plush feel. The Purple Harmony is an awesome pillow, but it's definitely going to give you that bounce! Overall, I prefer the Eli & Elm for strict side sleepers, and would recommend the Harmony for combo sleepers.
The Eli and Elm it is!!!! This pillow interests me the most for its shape and plushness. I do sometimes sleep on my back but its not for very long. I greatly appreciate your response!😉

I would choose the Harmony higher loft pillow. I am a side sleeper but I have broad shoulders and I think it would work best for me.
I don't like pillows that swallow my head, the dense support of the Purple Pillow sounds like something I would love.

Purple says to allow 30 days for one to adjust to their pillow… Does it really take that long to get used to it?

I like the trial however, I am not a fan of all memory foam pillows. They are too bouncy for me.
What's the hight, when compressed, when your head is lying on the Harmony?
I do think the Purple Harmony is a grwat pillow. I would definitely get one if my budget allowed.

I’m a mainly stomach/combo sleeper and my pillow is maybe an inch and a half. Would the low 5.5 be too much for what I’m used to?

I think the loft might be a bit too high for a stomach sleeper tbh. Check out the Saatva pillow.
