🤦♀️🤣 you ran out of yarn again! Made me giggle. Hope you have enough for your Kala 🤭 Good luck with the new job on Monday, hope you have your raincoat 🌧 stay safe with all the flooding, feel better and thanks for sharing 🥰
Hi again. I love those baby knits you made. I've used many of Kelly van Niekerk's patterns, so am a huge fan. Very wise decision to not join the Stephen West KAL. I'm doing it, but couldn't image moving, and starting a new job at the same time. All the best with all the exciting new ventures.
Nice finding your channel today. I grew up in Germany 🇩🇪 and hope you enjoyed your time there. TH-cam sent me to you because I am working on my first Sophie scarf. Like yours, mine will be one that wraps around once, so the larger version I don’t have the pattern, so I think that my center section a bit too wide, but oh well! Lol😅 it’s like fisherman who wish each other “tight lines“ or cigar aficionados, who wish each other “long ashes“. Thanks for uploading the video on your progress!
Your knits are beautiful and so is your selection. Musselbrough hat is very addictive. I have knitted 3 already. My next would be Sophie scarf in all sizes.
All the best then for Monday morning! I’ll be thinking of you while I go to bed on Sunday night 😂 I decided to get back to #scrappysunday and use up some of my sockyarn scraps for tiny little Advent Calender socks or preemie hats for charity. This full box is quite getting on my nerves …. 😅
Wonderful a new job may you have a great future working in the new phase of your life. New knitting times are ahead. I love the knitting choices you make and look for ward to your next podcast
Congrats on the new job 😊 Your Sophie scarf is lovely. I'm also knitting one whilst I watch you 😊 I knit the Aosta cardigan as my second cardi. It grew soooo much! It drowns me but it's really cosy and soft 😊
Hopefully mine won't grow too much as it's already pretty oversized. The swatch didn't but the cary super heavy so I guess it'll probably will stretch after all.
Delightful projects and episode as always! Your Kala is going to be gorrrrgeous. The yarn you chose is dynamite. Love the length and look of your Sophie Scarf - it really brings out your eyes. All the best with the new job and move to a new home as well. Do be kind and gentle with yourself - these are major life events and it's so hard to not feel 'grounded'. TAKE CARE and happy knitting, when you can!
😂 I think it worked out well adding the extra length and it makes it a lot more likely that I'll wear it. I always think the smaller one looks super cute but I'm not sure it's for me.
Hi Kel! 👋 🇨🇦 We're knitting all the same things!! I watch Ruth too and made 2 shawls on her KAL this year. I also made a Sophie Scarf. Do you watch Knits and Pieces with Noelle and Kelly?
Thanks Kelly, I've split spliced before but didn't try it with this cardy. I think it might be a superwash yarn (it doesn't actually say on the label) so I'm not sure it would work too well sadly.

I hope so too 😂 😂
Those baby overalls are soooo cute!!!!
They are indeed!

I haven't checked out her other patterns yet so I definitely need to do that - I really enjoyed the baby vertebrae

Lovely episode.
Thank you 😊
Very nice episode, chunky yarn hurts my hands too! I love your sophie scarf!
Thanks :)
The Ishbel by Ysolda Teague is another great one skein shawl :)
Such a gorgeous pattern - its on the list!!

Great idea!
Yayyy! Another episode!

Thank you so much Rosemary! There's a lot happening for my little family right now but we're really enjoying settling in.
Congrats on the new job 😊

Can't wait to see your Sophie scarf!

Thanks for another lovely podcast, hope your new job goes well.
Thanks Mal 😊

Thanks so much! This month I'm going to make my knitting all about escape and relaxation and try not to put any pressure on myself.
Good luck with your new job and home. Thank you for another lovely episode ❤
Thank you! 😊
Yours is the first Sophie Scarf that I actually like! I think it might be the extra length.

Thank you for another lovely episode😊 Good luck with your new job🧡

Congratulations on the new job Kel! Also hoping that the house plans work out and you can get settled!
Thanks Aleksandra 😊

Clearly we both have great taste 😂 I haven't watched Knits and Pieces so will have to check them out - thanks for the tip!
Hope your new job goes well. If you're not a fan of weaving in ends, and you're using animals fibres, try spit splicing. It's a total game changer 🙌

@@kelknits ah. Such a shame.
I'm going to try the baby vertebrae, it seems like a really great knit for babies.
It really is!
Can I have the pattern for the sophie scarf please the one you have around your neck
Sure, here's the link to Petite Knit's website www.petiteknit.com/products/sophie-scarf-4
Thanks so much regards diane
Thanks so much
