I think it was the music more than anything.
Mako married the ocean, which killed his father. Clearly a case of Stockholm.
the ocean killed mako's dad because mako's dad cheated on the ocean with a bottle of water. Mako didn't stay with the aqaurium long enough to consider it cheating so the ocean forgave Mako. Hence the most emotional ending ever. And unlike yugi and tea. Mako and the ocean are actually a thing

To be fair 4kids did a shit job explaining why Mako loved the ocean. They didn't mention that he saw that an oil spill in the ocean as well as all the garbage being dumped into it caused the ocean to be angry and so this storm came up and he and his dad were caught in the crossfire. Basically the ocean lashed out because people didn't respect it yet he insists on giving it the respect it deserves.
That's the real problem with 4kids. They forsake what helped the series make some semblence of sense in favor of americanizing it and making it ok for toddlers.
Yeah 4Kids really ruined this show... But at least we got the Abridged series to take the piss out of it all the time lol.

@@brainstorm9560 I think it's related to animist tenants of Shintoism, that everything has a shard of consciousness in it. The Heart of the Cards is related to that too, they talk about treating your cards well so that the card will be happy.
To be fair, that story sounds really dumb. The storm is in the sky, not the ocean.

If this somehow isn't enough proof, he has also publicly read bad Marik and Bakura fanfictions in front of audiences, and he mentioned when at a panel with his wife that she and him role-play as Marik and Bakura for.. you know, stuff.

No, Yami Bakura is a separate character from regular Bakura. Just like Yami Marik and Yami Yugi are separate from the originals. Yami Marik is the only one who could possibly reveal secret sides to his other personality, since the other two are literal ancient Egyptian spirits while he is merely a split personality.

Seriously, this is the problem with anime. If they want Yugi/Yami dead so much, then why the hell don't they just walk up to him on the street and shank his ass? Or send a bunch of minions to do it in a dark alleyway or something instead of letting Yugi beat them one-by-one in a children's card game and then tossing them aside as though they serve no more purpose? Hell, the closest they got to a legitimately good plan was the whole sawblade duel thing, and even that was ruined by actually making it dependent on a duel and not just leaving Yugi there to die!
Their entire plan is so unnecessarily convoluted and long it's not even funny anymore! THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TAKE JAPANESE STORYTELLING AND MIX IT WITH THE REQUIRED PG ELEMENTS OF A KIDS SHOW! IT TAKES A DOZEN FUCKING YEARS FOR ANYTHING TO GET DONE PLOT-WISE!!!

Oh wait, I'm sorry. "Death" and all words relating to it or suggesting it in any way shape or form are not allowed in this show's dubbed verion. Really, that's the only reason they made that stupid rule: to be nice to the kids watching the show and spare their innocence from the concept of death. And that's my point; by trying to be so gosh darn kid-friendly, they completely screwed themselves over and made a plot device that makes no sense.
But it's not like anyone else noticed this when the show was still running. Too late now. -_-

Abridged Bakura can actually be shipped with anyone. Remember, Evil Bakura openly admitted to being gay and Minor Character Bakura asked Teá if she wanted to have sex with him back in season 1.

Nope. There is a strong hint just short of seeing the man himself in Aftermath Book 1. We see Mandalorian Armor that has acid burns near wreckage of a sand barge in a Sand Crawler. It is strongly hinted to be Bobba's armor.
The extended universe was always irrelevant. And based on the movies, Boba Fett is a terrible bounty hunter.
Krahog Disney is planning a Movie starring Fett himself.

Me and a friend first discovered YGOTAS last year- it's become our favourite meme ever since. We even ended up having memorized the songs, starting with Pharaoh's throne (the exact script of the whole video), and by now some other lines.
We don't watch Yu-Gi-Oh. I last watched an episode five years ago or more.
