I have a citizen eco drive perpetual calendar wr100 since 04-04-2012 never touch its setting to adjust time or calendar.

What you say is very true. I too have been telling the same thing about 'fashion watches' to my friends and colleagues. I own an Edifice (Casio), a Guess Water Pro (2006 model), a simple Timex, a Timex Mariner and a square Seiko 5 automatic (1983). Last week I managed to get a golden dial mechanical Anglo Swiss watch (Swiss Made). I have decided that henceforth, I would only be buying old mechanical wrist watches of brands like Seiko, Anglo Swiss, Tissot, Favre Leube and HMT.

Sapphire crystal watches are so precious. Can sapphire coated mineral crystal be the substitute of a budget watch. Then which company and product has hardest mineral crystal. Also mention a long duration lume watch available in India in 10k to 15k if possible. These queries are important for any watch hobbyist. So, if possible please make a video to focus on these.

Yes, the Quality of Leather Belt is a Bit Moderate, But The Movement is Gr8, No Problems in it ! Recently Changed Its Battery, Still Perfectly Working. It's A Value For Money (obviously).

As a college student most of us start with fashion brand watches.. i too have watches from fossil, armani exchange that are 6-10 years old but in good condition.. as a consumer we are also attracted by still than just a brandike diesel watch has its own design signature, DW its own, so as long as your budget allows you and it satisfies your style need i dnt see it wrong, as long they are outsourcing it to a watch making co. like fosssil. however as mentioned in the video there are better options like titan, timex, casio, seiko.
I own Japanese brands for quartz and automatic movement. Casio, the best in quartz and Seiko Or Citizen are best in automatic.

Unpopular opinion - mei to titan ko bhi ajkal fashion watch jaisa consider karta hu. Teen titan kharap pari hei. None lasted more than four years. And service center was pretty bad. Never buying titan or fastrack ever again. Sonata lasts long though.
My wife's titan glass got cracked. Went to the biggest show room in guwahati. They can't change the glass.. Came to realized that titan is just mass producing watches without remembering previous models.
Honestly i agree with you, nowadays Titan is moving ahead as a fashion brands with minimalistic designs and bigger dials above 45mm, i dont know where they are heading

Bhai I had bought a Fossils chronograph about 10 years ago. Apart from the battery that wears of from time to time it never had any problem even under water . I clean my watch in running or wear it during rain too.
So I love their quality. The stainless steel strap; quartz glass case is sturdy as I keep dropping it.
You can try them.
Fashion brand watch you must avoid.
Also 10atm thing make sure you read a little more about how long it can stay, how much feet and what pressure.

That's 100% true I use my dad's 15 year old titan watch still working like new with only once visiting the service centre that too for a glass repair 🙂

i loved traditional watches a long time back because of my father's watch collection hobby. Then came the smartwatch fever in the market and i jumped on the band wagon too. now im over it.
Again i started to search for a good traditional watch for myself. came across your videos. and gave me new perspective of enjoying a traditional wrist watch.
recently i bought one timex expedition tide temp compass watch. its an awesome time piece. like you im going to start my own collection. looking forward to buy a casio g-shock GA-B2100 soon to add to my collection.
i dont even look at my smartwatch anymore. i feel its a waste of money and a huge distraction. also when somebody looks at your wrist its a blank black screen and no character. if you turn on the always on display, you drain the battery very fast.
