Falling Apart: My story of starting over.

  • This is the story of how my career, my physical health, and my mental health fell apart in 2020. And how I was shown on a journey with psilocybin that stored trauma from my childhood played a major role in my decline. Then of course there's the question of what do I do about it?
I hope you get something out of this deeper dive into the beginning of my road to healing and you'll stick around to see where that road takes me.

So glad to have watched this and reconnected with you. I’m still sad about the loss of the community you all worked so hard to build, but as you’ve alluded to here, our existence contains multitudes.
I’m interested in your experience of unwrapping your trauma and how it has impacted your health long term, as well as your spiritual journey. I was diagnosed in 2018 with two overlapping autoimmune diseases that, combined with the events of 2020, also started my journey of self reflection and addressing old trauma.

Thank you for your courage in sharing. So many parallels, as my health also came crashing down in 2019. I look forward to following along with more of your healing journey.

I remember you having health issues during that time, but wasn’t up to speed on the full depth of what was going on. Totally get the pain of leaving the health space behind. Hello, No I wasn't bored, but intrigued.
I sat with my spiritual teacher this evening, for like 7 hours. And I told her what has been going on.
Part of your story triggered a thought for me, that maybe gave me a reason for a repeating occurrence.
I come from an abusive alcoholic home too. And I saw the same things you saw. My father is long dead now.
My Grammy, (His mother) has been visiting me, in dreams and in my waking time as well. And like you, I have had serious health issues along the way too.
She comes and visits, and she brings me a visual of standing in her bedroom looking down at the garden we built together when I was a kid. (She was my protector and One of my mother figures). as I stand there looking out the second story window, I jump out that window and everything goes black, until I come up for air and realize where I am (usually in the shower)
I asked my teacher tonight, why she was bringing me this vision continuously. And she said that there will probably be a message there in it for you, but I will need to figure it out.
And when you spoke of your inner child, the answer finally came to me. I won't get closure or truth from my parents, by their choice not mine, but what I will get is love, respect, and safety with Grammy. She has been visiting the past couple of months and my health has picked up, my transient pain has gone, and I feel better now than I have, in recent years.
She has been following me around the world for years since her death many years ago.
I can tell you the pandemic screwed us all up here in Montreal for a long time. We had to build a gym in our bedroom so we did not kill each other being locked at home for months on end, so I feel your pain. Now we can tell those horrible stories, right ??

So I came across a video from 2 years ago, and during that video you were supposedly dealing with mold in your house. And now, fast forward, it is childhood trauma. Now, granted, I have not watched all of your videos, but I am baffled. Just what what the heck are you trying to portray here?

      @GettingThere  22 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

@@kimlittleton4943 Kim what if there was a world where both of those things happened!?
I’m portraying a story about myself. Part of my individual calling as a person is to share the experiences I’ve had with other people. It’s led to a lot of really meaningful connections.
One of the most fascinating things to me about mold illness and auto-immune issues in general is the immense amount of people I’ve met personally, spoken with on here, and read about whose immune systems were compromised by adverse childhood experiences.
      THEY ARE CONNECTED.
