Sweet! This cook checks almost all of the craving boxes. Burgers, hot dogs, bacon cheese mustard, BBQ, and oh yah those caramelized onions. I could easily eat a whole pot of those caramelized onions, by themselves. Only craving left for me, a good cup of hot coffee. Nicely Done. Thanks for sharing. 😎
Thanks Ry! Been watching your vids for a couple of months and continue to try your recipes. Grew up loving hamburger steaks, so had to try these dogs. For the record, my childhood was Exactly as you demonstrated when showing how our parents grilled a steak - which is probably why our hamburger steaks had more flavor than a t-bone. Made six of these using a 1/3 lb of burger each. Put them on pretzel buns - they were awesome. I'll share photos if I can figure out how.
Clever idea. I need to make this soon :) I usually have home made brats in the freezer but am all out. Last time i ground cheddar and smoked porkbelly into th ground beef i used. Tasted great so i am sure this was delicious too!
Those look great! I'm definitely going to try this.Hey, Ry, what exactly are you using to light your coals?Sometimes I just want to light about 5-7 briquettes and it's almost impossible to do with the chimney. Whatever you're using looks like the way to go to do that.
OK I got the theme after reading your hat. Mini missile food for rocket scientist. What did I win? have a blessed day "keep the faith people, and keep on keeping on"
Roll and turn sweetest. That didn't look like fit was two bad, I would think you could cut in half you just make two sandwich's. Where's the potato chips?

YES YES YES!!!!! These burger dogs look so good. You've got me hooked on cooking the onions in bacon fat since the bacon onion dip video.
I've been doing more of that. It's so good :)
Early morning TH-cam posting! Cool way to eat some hamburger pattys for my kids. They'll love helping me with the rolling pin part.
Get 'em involved!
I can't wait to surprise the grandkids with these. I'll be the coolest Grumpus ever.
I could eat 4 of those bad boys right here, right now! Mmmmmm, love beef with cheese, and those onions sends it over the top!
Yeah I've suddenly become enamored with caramelizing onions in bacon fat. I'm just assuming it's healthy :)
Yep! Good recipe. Now I'm making this tomorrow night. Lol. Thank you, Ry.
You're very welcome :)
Beautiful leaves on your video. Thank you for sharing. 👍👍👊
Thank you! We get fall in January here :)
I always forget the drip pan until everything is on the grill and cooking. What follows is 'creative recovery' engineering. Great video Ry. =)
Yeah I'm 50/50 on remembering a drip pan :)

I never went to culinary school. And that shows in my knife skills :)
Sweet! I've done this before, too. BUT.... you did even better, Ry. I love how you stuffed them and the onions look like the bomb. Good job!
Those onions... I've been caramelizing onions in bacon fat a lot lately and I'm REALLY liking the results :)
