I think this is the first Kickstarter project that's overshot its delivery date by this much that I haven't had any concerns about fulfilment for at all. Your commitment to being transparent and showing so much of the production is encouraging and truly a model for other campaigns to mimic. Can't wait to get my hands on my set!
I agree! I backed the highest tier when this first launched, and I’m not worried about this project. Didn’t help that the pandemic was in full swing, and the chip shortage was going on (amongst other world events) when this kickstarter was funded, but iv always been prepared to wait as long as needed. With great patience comes great reward. Which the reward will end up being a set of some awesome RGB dice, made by a team that cares and keeps us in the loop ❤
The automation costs required for a project like this would be astronomical for a team and project on this scale. Consolidating all of those steps into a mechanically repeatable pipeline would be a massive undertaking.
@@martinswanson I don't know what their production is going to look like past kickstarter fulfilment, so I have no idea if they'd hit the economy of scale needed to make it worthwhile. This is all speculation, as I have no background in production logistics. This is just assumptions based on the kickstarter and updates.

Jeez, i didnt expect the dice to be hand made. Are there any plans to automate this process eventually?
