Arteta had no experience till he got the Arsenal job. Pep had no experience till he got the Barca job. This guy might flop he might turn out alright, time will tell.

But he had people around him going in the same direction, that were dedicated to make footballing decisions. Chelsea's management aren't. They are trying to adopt a model that works for Brighton, because that is their station as a smaller club. The awkward part is that Chelsea have spent more than £1 billion to become worse, and have sacked even more managers than they did under Abramovich where they at least lasted 18 months.
It's completely unmanageable to have 44 players in your squad most of which came over short period of time. It took Pochettino most of the season to figure out who actually worked, and Potter never figured it out.

That’s not the Brighton model at all. 70+ million on Mudryk an Arsenal target that fans wanted, we’ve just got Neto 50+ million. How is any of this a small club mentality? We’re stock piling young players in the hopes some of them become good enough to play for Chelsea, and if they’re not we can sell them for a quick profit or break even in a few years time giving us more money to compete for transfers in that year and still complie with pfp. If we have money to spend and without breaking ffp now, we might as well spend it because it doesn’t transfer over to the next season. But what does transfer over are the players you own that you can then sell to balance the books that year. Don’t blame the owners blame the systems in place. These guys have found loophole after loophole that the fa have to keep closing up, but everyone thinks they’re stupid. Give it time

Had 6 months at benfica where he was okay and 3/4 decent games at the world cup and hes suddenly worth £105 million only 6 months after benfica paid £17 million for him. Yet Newcastle paid only £38 million for Bruno. If fernandez is worth over £100 mill the Bruno has to be worth £250 mill or more

This has been going on at Spurs for years. It makes more financial sense for the board to invest just enough in the team to qualify for Europe. Gaining all the financial bonuses that comes with that but never go all the way to invest in a team that could seriously challenge for trophies. The investment would be too much for them.
After all, Spurs honestly have a world class stadium with F1, Concerts, Shops, American Football. But we dont have a world class team.

Tbf the owners gave signs on their intentions early. Now we’re seeing it in action. "The Other Side Of The Coin" channel did a great report on this.
Whatever you think about Rory being a reactionary, he's not wrong in most of this.
Chelsea's formula from last year where they spent 6 months of the season chopping changing and trying to figure out their strongest eleven will be repeated again all season long. Only this time there's a much less experienced guy trying to get it figured out on the touchline. Oh, and not to mention this is coming after shipping out some of your character guys who came up through the ranks and bleed for the club. You've now just got a club full of young mercenaries that haven't got a clue what it means to play for the badge, but maybe that doesn't matter because like Rory says, playing for the badge isn't the mission for Chelsea, who are just a player transfer business where pesky football matches just get in the way of things.
The time for sacking Pochettino was after being embarrassed 5-0 at Arsenal, not after he finally strung together some results and had the team clicking. That right there proved where the priorities were.
