Ha ha those trucks look fun as hell to race!! thanks for sharing.
They are crazy fun. It's all about the tire prep.. since they have a big sidewalls and no foams you have to strategically glue the front sidewall edge, and then clean all 4 of the treads often to keep grip up. At the start of this race my rear end was crazy loose. I didn't get a chance to do a good tire clean and or a burnout tire warmup before this race. But after a few laps you can see my traction improved, but my driving didn't. HA!

Did you do the glue on the tires before this race? It could have given a controllable push if you had. Push is controllable, bite is not.
Great track. If that was avail here in Pittsburgh, I'd be right on that. Used to run carpet oval at PT raceway. Are these Rwd? Even better
These trucks are AWD, based on Tamiya TT01 chassis
What size motor y’all using?
Stock silver can that comes in the kit
What's drive better fax fox or the man cabs
I’m bout to race these. My club is mandating box stock class. Only get to glue the sidewall of the tires. What kind of things have you done to yours? Is it stock?
Yes same rules for our local club. The Euro truck class went away lately though and was replaced with TTGT ( TT01 and TT02 cars on USGT tires. ) so that’s why you don’t see me racing Tamiya truck much anymore.

Are you all using LiPo batteries in the race?
Yes. Due to the curved chassis only a few types of lipo fit (oval profile). Unless you trim out the tray.
Just waiting for my fat fox to turn up and the border restrictions to be gone then take mine racing
What motor were you running in these races?
The silver can stock torque tuned Tamiya brushed motor that comes in the kit. That’s the only allowed motor for these MAN truck spec races.

This track Is a pop-up style in the winter. It’s likely moving again. We are in Ottawa area. TT01 trucks are awesome. Any of the cab styles work well enough and compete together equally.
Netcruzer RC TECH CARS appreciate that. We are looking to do something similar in the Greater Toronto Area. How difficult is it to get this organized? Do you guys book school gyms? Halls? This truck look good but i think it's overpriced a little bit
Man trucks look better IMO..The fat fox is not nearly as cool looking on the track.. Watching a group of Man trucks running just seems more fun lol

He was distracted watching the other freight train crash, I had to get his attention. We are allowed if they don’t notice you right away.

Ah there wasn't any aggression in his voice, he was just trying to save his race, I wouldn't of minded if he shouted over to me like that if I was day dreaming 😄 just building one of these now, chassis was easy, just trying to find the enthusiasm to start the shell now 🙄
Do not bitch about marshals, if you wouldn't crash you wouldn't need them...just saying, I hear too many people yelling at the marshals, because there is sooo much at stake....This is suppose to be a fun hobby.
I just bought this truck because they say we race.
I watch this video and dont see any fun in it.
Think gona sell the truck before even racing.
