If your hair is longer and thick, try it on your natural texture without adding braiding hair and without blow drying. Just add the curly pieces instead.

You mentioned wishing you only used human hair…do you think that would have made the braids thinner?
I used veryyyy minimal synthetic hair, my hair is just super thick towards the top and middle of my head. I don’t think it would’ve made a difference in the thickness.
What beauty supply human hair do you recommend if a person doesn’t have access to this hair in the video?

@@Mini-rt8bm lol it ain’t safe. You’ll have to dip your natural hair in boiling hot water. That+ the synthetic hair is gonna dry your ends right out.
Can use your own hair for the braids and just add the human curls in for the boho look.

I love the way your hair looks! But I need help yall... How do I explain to braiders that I want medium-ish braids but I don't want 90 pounds of braids on my head! Its just sooo heavy and sooo full and sooo bulky. You can put your hair in a ponytail and that's what I want!! I've never been able to do that. Is my request unreasonable? Am I explaining it weird and they don't understand what I'm asking for? Please help. I'm tired of walking out with 783 braids.
lol girllllll you gotta tell them medium parts small braids, extra full boho. As a braider myself, I’m sure they will much more prefer to do them that way! So much easier
So many people complain about not having full braids that they neglect the ones that want something light and airy with less tension

How is this titled "shoulder length" when its was longer?
Obviously, it’s a bit longer on me because my natural hair is long. However you can apply these steps on yourself if your hair isn’t as long.

The only issue is, the hair - in that style - looks limp and lifeless and thin...like your hair is thinning or stringy, when we know you actually have thick lustrous hair. Maybe only a (very) temporary look, in my opinion. It's summer and I want thick dramatic styles that compliment the wind when I'm driving to the beach with my top down! 😊
