  • In this video, we give this pair of Ferragamo loafers a makeover. A customer asked us to do a complete refurbishment on his shoes, so that's what we did. With new English-made Dainite rubber soles, a little leather sanding, and a dye job, this pair ended up looking...GOOD!

Decades long leather workers here. Free hint.
To get the richest looking black - dye your leather brown first and then dye black. Try it!
    Love your videos.

Yes! A nice coat of black leather dye (Kelly’s or Zoe’s) will give it that deep color. I didn’t know about the brown dye first - interesting!

Beautiful job, I just restored my 30 pound weights. They said " throw them away". I thought how can I throw these away, when they have helped me grow so much. I decided to restore them and now theyre better than when I got them over 10 years ago. It's not a shoe/boot but I related to restoring something that meant more to me than money.

No doubt their work is of the highest caliber. That kind of ability and care doesn't usually come cheap.Recently a local guy quoted me a price for a cowboy boot resole that came very close to the price of a new pair. Six months earlier another guy quoted me half of the second guy's quote. . He must have regretted his estimate because after six months he had not even started the work. After being promised and disappointed and two more wasted trips across town I reclaimed my unrepaired boots( which I believe is just what he wanted me to do) . Too bad I don't live near Tennessee
