Thank you for this! Let me tell y’all something!!! I made the Intermediate batch for myself and my husband, and o. m. g. These are soooooo good!!! 😍🤤 like literally!! We cut the recipe in half and got about 7 cookies- so good! I’m impressed.
Now, there's no 'perfect' cookie for everyone (beauty is in the eye of the beholder), but the expert one is pretty much exactly what I had in mind! The only thing I'd change is using salted butter, oatmeal and a couple of secret ingredients of mine!
Thank you 🥰 Salted butter is definitely an easy swap in, I like to use unsalted in some of my bakes as it allows me to control the level of salt in the over all bake 💕💖
I love Cookies too! And when I got a message that you uploaded a video about cookies I just want to grab my hand in the phone and eat all of them 😅 Thanks for the recipes ❤
These recipes are almost the same. I will probably try the intermediate one but I tend to stick to a very basic cookie recipe that I used to make as a kid from the Be-ro recipe book. Literally just butter, brown sugar, golden syrup, milk, flour and chocolate chips. No need to refrigerate the dough. We change which chips we add, sometime a mixture of white, milk and dark. My kids love them and they’re really quick and simple to make.
Thank you for sharing the recipes! As of now, I'm happy with Intermediate cookie recipe. It was the right ratio of ingredients, with the ideal chewy center and crispy edges.
You guys, she is not wearing the white shirt! 🤣 Btw, just made the best cookies in my life these past week! I was so pround of my selve cuz I never got it properly right. Anyway... 😄
Hey Eloise, the last time you made 'Levain cookies' they weren't really quite right to be honest. It would be great if you wanted to do another video, similar to this, but with different Levain style cookie recipes (like Biscoff and Pumpkin spice along with the traditional Chocolate Chip Walnut). I personally think the big chunky Levain cookies are the best kinds of cookies.
@@FitwaffleKitchen Ah ok, I haven't tried the proper ones from New York. The Crumbs and Doilies ones in Soho are amazing, and the ones I make always get the most compliments out of any other cookies I've made :)

I love an NYC style cookie, I actually visited Levain when I was in New York and didn't enjoy their cookies as much as I thought I would 😢
