The new catch fence looks great and the railing is nice too. You have a great layout for the track and tons of detailing. Both cars run the track nicely and run it smooth and quietly. Great video.

Thanks for the video Dan, I have a viper track and wanted to make it a little more like a raceway… it’s pretty generic looking my Guard rails are basically clear acrylic walls. I’m going to try the fencing and see how it does. Again thanks for the video. !

I finally received mine and replaced all the orange ones on the track. The cars immediately started to derail at certain curves, the sharp curves and I finally figured it out. The G+ cars and a 4 gear AW hit the stubs that hook on the top of the track and derail them. I was exited about the rail since the are set back a little from the edge of the track for a little drifting room. I really like the look of them, but pulled most of them off and went to thin clear plexi glass I had. I trimmed down the tabs on the remaining gray rails I wanted left on the track and the cars do not hit them like they did.
It's something AFX should work on

For anyone who is not used to installing guard rails.... just lay them out where you intend to put them before you start. Joints between track pieces can interfere with placement so you may need to make minor adjustments in the exact placement.
Hi Dan, that new rail and fencing look fantastic and adds more of a realistic look to the track 👍. Wow those new car's look Super Fantastic going around your track Awesome 👍🏁. Which one of the car's do I like most, BOTH of them 😎👍🏁. Some day AFX will sell these car's as singles, I hope 🤔. On my AFX Giant Raceway I'm using the AFX Race Barrier Sections 3" x 31" part #AFX22049, they are peal an stick to the edge of the track, and you can move them if need on other parts of the track👍. auto world now makes the catch fence with auto world logo stickers...it gives the track more life like..i am buying some when they get listed on their site . i purchased the new tomy afx suoer car set..it comes with the new sticker logo sheet...lots of decals for your track

Have 2 pair of Lifelike Mustang and Camaro in pretty much the same colors. Really like them alot. Also have 3 other colors of the Mustang and the Police version of the Camaro. Plan to grab a bunch of those new rails and catch fencing. Exactly the right thing to bring to the market. The best yet.
I had discoverd Carrera raised fencing and adapted it to my Ho track. I like that AFX came out with a great looking and useful option cheaply and efficently. I also like how they connect side to side. I used shrink tubing to join the old ones together. Will be switching. Thanks for the Vid Dan.
I was very impressed with the new fencing! I knew it was in the pipeline for a long time now. Great AFX product!

the new fencing looks great.... track looks better every time I see it.... great work Dan.... the new cars look great.... still disappointed in the "large size" but I guess AFX and I will have to agree to disagree on that matter.... great video....

My major complaint about these. They do not stay together when using them on a turn. I also have had issues using certain cars. They bounce over the plastic tabs on my AFX track. More so, as you come out of the turns. Just my opinion. I painted the bottom rail white and installed around the whole configuration of my four lane dirt track. Appearance why, they are awesome
sand the track down so that it is level at the connections not the rails just the plastic!
They look very cool but unfortunately don't work as good as the AFX red rails. The tires stumble over the new rails' mounting "feet". The red rails are the best clip on H.O. rails from any era or maker that I have ever known but wish they had made them silver. All other rails have had the same problem as the new AFX rails do with the stumble foot problem. Someone commented that they are available silver now. Something else that is important to me is to not block the view of the cars on the track. As good as the new rails look they do exactly that. They're cool for the back sides of the track, though. Personally, I think they're all overly expensive, but whaddaya gonna do😖 gotta pay if ya wanna play.
AFX....PLEASE MAKE A DRAG STRIP WITH THE CARS PROPERLY SPACED APART AND SAVE US FROM AUTO WORLD

I'm gonna build a dragstrip out of lexan and the spacing to each lane 5-6" at 16.5 feet. =1/64 to 1000ft
@@slotvalleyracing I only race t-jets w/stock skinny tires and my strip is only 7'. Short yes but it tightens up the races and gives slower cars a chance if they get the hole shot. If the track is too long the faster car always wins. Also I don't have to get up to go fetch the cars after each race

Where did you get the catch fencing from?
It comes in the Horsepower Shootout set with the new railing . I bought 2 sets for the cars but this is easily a premium set with all the goodies. They sell the 2 as a set of just the catch fence and railing.

The quality of the catch fence is rubbish ! Just look at how wrinkled it is ! What a waste of money. I can make ones way better.
They are straight. Just not made for banked turns
