  • From the late 1800s to the early 1900s, Brandywine Springs Amusement Park was a place to gather for picnics, games, rides and more. Today, if you look close enough, you can still see through the overgrowth into the past.

I walked through there today on a photography expedition, and it was a fascinating trip. It's a shame the vandals feel the need to deface the informational signs and some of the remaining bits of concrete/foundations. There are many signs (just read around the graffiti) showing where the old attractions originally stood. Definitely worth the walk!

A great video! I'd love to see a longer video including the biography of its founders. Well done.

i noticed amusement parks had much different attractions to the amusement parks of today i mean of course they had the rides and games but you dont hear people today saying "im going down to Kings Island to go roller skating, then to go row boating, after that we will go to the dance hall and if its not to late take a ride on the coaster before heading out!" lol I wonder if time traveling was real and someone from those days was to travel to 2016 i wonder what their reactions would be to places like Magic Mountain,Cedar Point,Disney World, Great Adventure, etc. O.O
