genshin really is wasted potential, if it had a legitimately well done endgame mode to compliment abyss the game would be in a much better state than it is now.

at this point it's not even about hoyo being dumb or clueless with like repeatable end game fun content, it's just them holding onto these "trump cards" and dripping them out bit by bit when the game crosses a loss of month player count threshold, it's a slow and painful process but I'm pretty sure hoyo is using genshin as a testing ground, so they can gauge how much content is necessary to keep a game barely out of staleness to retain players while also holding onto more and more contents for whatever reason they have

You must be like what is this guy yapping about but hear me out, so if they don't add any primo rewards for this it will automatically discourage the casual player base to try it and will not feel a sense of anxiety of missing out on primos every patch. But you will say why would anyone bother with a game mode if there is no rewards for that I say apart from primo everything should be fair game, and that could be anything related to making your character strong. Yeah they can give more character books and mora than standard leylines for the first time each reset we complete and then just a tad bit more for any subsequent completion until next reset, along with this they should also give out artifacts and we can set which artifact set to drop and it should be dropped at the completion( artifact could be a drop for each room completion or something and since people can still farm them in standard domains this is just a free reward for a hardcore player). Along with these they should add an artifact reset thing which will be awarded each time we complete the game mode. This reset thing can be powerful for people wanting to build their characters what it does can range from copium to Aware but giving something like this to only the people that really care about combat should be good, its a PvE game no one cares if some people earn some really good 50 cv artifact by doing an end game content. Plus it could entice more casual player base to atleast try it at times to hope for a god like artifact.

Here is an idea, how about instead of three materials in one domain, you use those domains that you complete once and never touch again?
