    This Guy's musicality, technique and fluency are on another level.
    I mean. To demo this instrument for 1hr+ switching up styles to match the various patches.The Studiologic is clearly a very good instrument, but the playing... OMG!

    Hi. I don't endestein your comments. Ok player good, but i could to listen to play the sounds in a correct mode, not showing his ability. This isn't a propley dimostration of the keyboard. Studio logic think it about...

    now THATS how to do a comprehensive demo!! WOW!! One of the original Music reseller sales demos of the Numa X i saw didn't impress me at all but now i realise it's because the guy simply didn't have the chops to be able to make it sound good. This guy on the other hand could make a dinky toy casio keyboard from 1983 sound amazing!!

    That piece that you played with the Whirly255 was mind-blowing! The left hand was driving hard with quick changes, while the right hand laid down sweet solo that was completely unlinked from the left hand. I can only dream of being able to pull that off! You nave a new fan here.

    • @PetrGladkikh
      @PetrGladkikh ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, the left hand is repeating the line, that does not need thinking. So one can pay attention to right hand only.

    Only the electric pianos are modeled, so I hope Studiologic adds sampled electric pianos to their download library, so with the massive 300 note polyphony you can layer sampled layers with their modeled counterparts.
    I'm going to try things like layering the "upright" piano with maybe the "saloon" piano for blues, boogie-woogie, ragtime etc. With all that polyphony, if any sound is "thin", you have up to 4 parts to fatten things up!

    • @HOOKSnKISSES
      @HOOKSnKISSES 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      As I gathered from different websites (including Studiologic's) and online videos, the acoustic pianos sounds are created using a mix of samples and modeling synthesis. Some acoustic piano recreations use a sample/synthesis structure, almost like the classic Roland D-50 Linear Algorhythm Synthesis (yet far more complex), where the initial attack of the sound is an actual sample of the original but the sustaining tone is modeled. Key let off sounds are always sampled. The exact "recipe" differs per sound though.

      Great demo. Amazing talent. I own a Nord piano 5. I can’t help but think if they just had an average player demo this instrument, we would pay more attention to the actual sound samples vs. the incredible playing. IMHO, there is no comparison to the Nord piano 5. Of course I’m sure for the price, this would be an acceptable alternative. Unfortunately, once you go red, it puts the rest to bed...

    One of the best demo I have ever seen in my life. Mind blowing playing you have fantastic sense of using sounds truly a versatile playing very catchy. This demo definitely increase the sell of this product, I really like this instrument and I have seen all the videos of this piano but still I was very confused what to buy I really like the Kawai MP11SE and it’s little out of my budget and this piano look as good convincing like a Kawai. I am looking to buy a GT version but I am not getting with our local distributor it’s more then 6 to 8 months still waiting. I have one confusion regarding the new action of Numa GT is it good as a Kawai MP11SE? Because my first preference is key touch, I have played some of fatar keys and I am not happy with the action. Your reply will definitely help me to buy this piano. Problem is In my country local distributor dose not have a demo facility and it’s a always a risk to buy without trying the piano. Thanks man...You are a genius pianist and I am now a big fan of you. Love it! ❤️

    • @chordtabs
      @chordtabs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I prefer Fatar key ( MP11SE key is also very good, Fatar is a little harder weight key and I prefer more weight ) Try by yourself is best.

      CT Music Shop / Chordtabs Thank you so much for the reply 🙏 really appreciate. One more question do you have any idea about the key action weight because if you are saying it’s heavy than a MP11SE action then for me it’s too heavy, Problem is in my country there’s no demo facility for the Studio Logic product and it’s a expensive products, I asked you because you are a great player and I can totally trust on your feedback. Thank you so much again.

    Sorry, not a good test at all for a professional wanting to really "HEAR" this piano. While in the acoustic piano category you need to record MIDI and play the exact same performance/song for all the piano choices. I can't tell the difference between the sampled pianos when you are playing one soft and another loud and fast. Then you need to play a chord like a Cm7 in at least 4 octaves and hold the keys down from strike to full decay, and you should also play this cord at at least 3 velocity levels and let it decay to no sound. When you play fast songs nearly all Dpianos sound the same, the notes are being sustained only for a 100 to 200 milliseconds; this tells me nothing of what this piano sounds like, the most intensive sound test is the long played note/chords like at 50bpm whole notes, tied whole, and arpeggios played legato and slowly so we can hear the notes blending. IF you want to play fast, use this only for a test of the action, not the sound, and we need only one short song for this that includes fast repeated duplicate notes (staccato CCCCCCCCCCCCC). I can't afford to fly 2000 miles to a music store to compare piano's, it would cost what the piano costs. I need GOOD tests not this fast performing madness while I attempt to listen for sympathetic resonance of the sustained notes and chords. The best Dpiano in the world is the piano that can be played very slowly and expressively where the samples have to stand on their own for 5 seconds and still sound acoustic.

    • @briangoodner8680
      @briangoodner8680 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Inexpensive digital keyboards only have piano samples that are a couple hundred mb at most (except some Korgs) thus demos never have long sustained chords that expose the loops and simulated sustain pedal resonance.You'll want VST piano libraries or a real piano. Live, all that detail gets lost in the cacophony and this newcomer is lightweight and a nice price point. I especially appreciate if I buy the Numa X not I won't need to bring a mixer for my vocal and Mojo 61.
      There is reportedly another free 1.5 gig memory inside for their download library and there's already a 1914 small grand in library that sounds nice and warm. I hope their library adds a 8 velocity sampled Rhodes and Wurly to layer with their modeled ones or just played on it's own if the samples are real good like the free downloadable 1914 piano.

      @@briangoodner8680 Thank you. Yes, there is the software alternative, but to keep latency in check requires a perfectly operating very fast computer. Once computer and app are purchased we still need a keyboard. Then there is the constant troubleshooting to keep the high processor demand piano app functioning, as well as the upgrade and replacement of computers and operating systems continue forever. Then we have the catch-up time between computer hardware, operating system and application. Then we have the bugs to fix in any new upgrade or replacement as application, operating system and hardware attempt to function together. I am a solo pianist who must practice on a digital piano in my little apartment so I don't disturb the neighbors in my 5 hour sessions. I expect all hardware Dpiano's to perform as well as the manufactures claim. And I need actually test video's that prove it. NumaX, Roland Vpiano and the Yamaha Clavinova, which is also basically a P515 are my choices. Currently using a YamahaP95 for the last 10 years, looking for the advancement in technology to replace it.

Using it live, I use the audio inputs for two synth modules, and it works great for this as it has a built-in mixer. All is all, a superb performing board for studio for live.

For example, I can have a couple internal sounds set and then have my two synth modules midi’d and can easily control them. With the four audio inputs, it really makes things nice. The interface is designed very well and I’m sure they will continue to tweak it. They seem to listen to their users.

    I have a humble advice to Numa people. You name GT for TP400W and leave TP110 without any tag, but NumaX. I think you should give a tag, may be namely ST which stands for Stage Touch... :) In this way, you can value your TP110 action more. Just saying :)

    the piano sound sounds very plastic (Midi) (It has no acoustic details)

    Che stronzata fare estro per farsi notare su un piano digitale che non viene usato per suonare questo genere
    Comunque tastiere non professionale

    Oh My Goodness. Especially the VintGrand section and constant yet fluent arpeggios. My, my, my what skill and control. Congrats on your well and hard earned talent. Simply amazing. Would would one choose between the 73 or the 88 key? Any advantage other than more keys? Also, is there are acoustic guitar to these presets?

      73 and 88 are functionally the same, unless you go for the flagship Numa X GT (88). That has the upgraded Fatar tp/400 keybed with escapement and aftertouch. (I don’t actually know what that mean 😅) but it does make it a whopping 18lbs heavier than the regular Numa X 88

      @@johnnymcgeemusic Thanks for the reply. The one I am looking to purchase if the full GT 88 key and there is only one I know of in Canada. It is a demo $2,449.00 CAD (Actual Price = $2,700.00 CAD). it certainly is not cheap to buy.

    It’s a really pity that Studiologic and Kurzweil opted to design their flagship stage pianos with external power supplies (wall warts). I can’t imagine why. It’s a dealbreaker for me.
