It’s really nice to have a video where it’s more “you” speaking rather than role play. I really like the role plays but hearing your own thoughts and you really articulating your passion for each game is really nice insight 👍🏻
"Would you kindly" has got to be one of the best reveals in all of video games. *So* perfectly worked in where you don't even think twice about it until it's addressed.
Thank you for making the content that you do. I had a huge pounding headache all day and couldn't relax when I got home until I turned this video on. The asmr is outstanding but the way you deliver it is gentle enough to not exacerbate my headache. Finally, I can unwind. The content is quality too, I love hearing new game recommendations I forgot or glossed over.
Wow this is so coincidental. Your OG collection video (from 7 years ago) is on my “Best ASMR” playlist, and i was just watching it and decided to check on how you were doing so i opened up your channel for the first time in years and here you are. A new collection video less than a day old… really makes me feel less lonely! Haha! Im getting back into the OG asmrtists again, yall are simply the best. Been watching since i was a child and im 22 now!

I hope you do another World of Warcraft video one day! I know they are not your most popular stuff but those were awesome! You play a lot of great games though! 😄
Thank you, Free. I stopped playing WoW about two years ago and I am amazed I ever found the time to play it, as I really don't have the time anymore. I still have a 400 mount video that I never posted that I'll get round to posting at some point.

I would love to dive further into the Tales series, so I will look into your suggestions. Thank you so much for watching and sharing your favorites, Akari!
Great asmr video - loved listening to your enthusiastic rambles! I've been working on a backlog of video games and this actually reminded me I need to play Bioshock 2+infinite still. I've been playing action games like Ninja Gaiden Sigma and the OG God of War, it's been pretty fun. For future games I'm also excited for REmake 4, but also the new Armored Core that was teased last year.
The one game I have enjoyed for a long time now is Oldschool RuneScape. It is such a chill game with so much freedom. I would compare the level of freedom in that MMO to the freedom in Skyrim, definitely. Albeit not as active since it is and remains a clunky point and click adventure type of game as it is top down and tile based, but I do think the game really holds up. Progression is slow but steady and I can feel the short and long term rewards of leveling up. The combat is very chill as for the early parts of the game you only need to kill what you want to attack but the combat system can get surprisingly deep when it comes to late-game and to PVP in general. Very lively PVP. Weekly updates to the game, Weekly Q&A/discussion streams by the core development team (Voluntarily because they love the game and community so much.) Great clarity towards the players and they try their damnest to work together with players on the content that releases as well as hotfixes/fixes/adjustments that could/need to be made. Amazing quests in the mid and late game. Early game quests have some stinkers (Mostly in Free to Play) but also offer some really decent/good quests. No hand holding for quests either. You have to use your noggin to figure stuff out from time to time. Great lore and world building. Everything is connected in some way either by lore or by direct follow ups to storylines. No main storyline that you are forced to follow (Like in FF14) so you do not have the feeling of pressure to complete something as fast as possible. Traversing the world starts off as a slog (Intended) but as soon as you get your magic level up, complete certain quests or regional achievement diaries you unlock methods of teleportation that make traversal so much more convenient that you actually really notice a sense of fulfilment and achievement when you get them. You get the decide how much time and effort you put into the game. You can play as slow or fast as you want to. Actually insanely detailed wikipedia with official support from the dev team of the game that details everything you want. And I do mean EVERYTHING. Great sense of humour is present all around but it is either a hit or miss if you like dry British humour. The game is very solo player friendly as almost the entire game can be played solo but a lot of things have casual multiplayer or optional multiplayer (Like mass bosses, Tempoross is an example of a boss that can be defeated in a group or solo and it accessible from early game). If you can get past the dated graphics (Not the style, the style is just unique to me as I don't see this anymore in big games) and the clunky tick update system where things only register every 0,6 seconds this game holds a LOT of value. So much so that there are people who create entire playthrough series of playing the game with weird restrictions that can last years. (Swampletics, or Chunk Locked accounts). Sorry for the wall of text. I absolutely love OSRS (Oldschool RuneScape) so I have a lot to say about it. And thanks for the video Laura!
I love Dragon Quest! Maybe I should have a closer look at Tales of Arise. Thank you Laura :) I'm currently waiting for my PS5 aswell :D Great Video :))
Ahhhh so many great games! I don't know how I'm ever gonna catch up on all the stuff I wanna play. I got two more Phoenix Wright games to go in the series, probably gonna start Pokemon White pretty soon, and before ya know it Tears of the Kingdom will be upon us. Holy moly it's been a good couple of years.
I love your videos! Love you WoW videos too! As a mount collector myself I'm super jealous on some of your luck hah I feel that about bioshock, the DLC on the 3rd was interesting for the story. I just watched a playthrough though since I didn't like the gameplay
I didn't realise the drop rate of midnight's eternal reins was so low and I was so happy when I got it on the 6th run, cause new kara is awful and I was so happy to never have to run it again
I also played the bioshock series recently and binged it for a couple of weeks. I agree that Bioshock 3 just didn't feel like the other two games and I also absolutely *hated* the hook mechanic!!
OOOOOH I’ve been looking at trying out Tales of Arise but wasn’t sure if it would be good, however you’re glowing review of it makes me think it’s definitely worth it and I’ll probably get it ✨😇 Also I love the sticky fingers sounds on the game cases. It’s my absolute favourite and I miss the old videos you had of you tapping on the black glossy box. I think it had gold, slightly risen words on it that said fame?? Idk but I loved the sounds and the sounds the game cases make reminded me of that video 😇 Hope you’re doing well Laura 💜
Hi 👋 thanks for the relaxing tingly video ☺️ also, just thought I’d say if you enjoyed MH World, then give Iceborne a chance as it’s an expansion for World not Rise and adds tons more content 👍
I'm happy to see that you have a similar taste in video games ^^ I did play some of the Tales of Series and my favourite is Tales of Smyphonia 2 somehow (mainly for the story) but I haven't played Tales of Arise yet :) As for Bioshock, yes I absolutely agree with what you said and the first one will always be a masterpiece for me ! Some of the recent games I loved were without a doubt Read Dead Redemption 2 and Horizon Zero Dawn and that mainly for the great story. However, for Read Dead, it does take a while to get into the game properly... I almost gave up on the game but I'm so happy I didn't ! Horizon Zero Dawn on the other hand peeks your interest early on because they give you bits and pieces of the plot so you want to know more and I absolutely loved the unique plot of this game because it wasn't as predicable as some "cliché" games. So if you haven't already tried these two then I can only recommend them ^^
I totally get your feeling of MH Rise. The base game feels a bit empty, especially the 1.0 version, which didn't even finish the story (like Capcom wanted to get the game out before the end of their fiscal year). Myself but many hours more into World/Iceborne then in Rise/Sunbreak, but the combat feels so much better in Rise/Sunbreak, then in World/Iceborne. The new Silkbind-Moves added in Sunbreak makes the combat flow even better. And that Rise/Sunbreak doesn't use the "modern Seasonal event" to force you playing the game at certain times to experience all the content like in World is a big + in my eyes. Of course you should keep in mind, that Rise/Sunbreak was primarily developed by the MH Portable Team, designed for the Nintendo Switch, while World was developed by "main" MH Team, designed to be interesting for a Western Audience. It's a bit of comparing Apples to Pears. I hope the next mainline game MH6 improves the "World formula" by incorporating many of the good Design Decisions made in Rise (and rethinking the Clutch-Claw mechanic, if it returns)
I've been too hurt by video games, that I don't look forward to them any more. I wait for them to go on sale a year or more later, put in a bundle on Humble Bundle/Fanatical etc, or are given away. The downward spiral of not wanting to buy new release games, started with Mass Effect 3 (I loved and re-played the first two many times, but the ending of three destroyed that love) and ended with Dynasty Warriors 9 (a franchise I played every game of, but they tried making it open world and left most of it empty).
I tried to 100% Skyrim, but one Daedric mission glitched, when a npc character got stuck in between the entry/exit of a cave. I got so irritated, I haven't gone back to the game after finishing the story.
Not relaxing or calming in traditional asmr way. But relaxing and calming like conversation with close friend about games. Im a gamer myself. So it was kinda cozy and fun.
I loved all of Bioshock. 😅 I will give Tales Of Arise a look, when it's cheap enough. I just bought Far Cry 6, Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, Warriors Orochi 4 and Nobunaga's Ambition: Sphere of Influence. I really should stop buying new games, my to-be-played is too long. 🤪 Just like my to-be-read and to-be-watched. 😂😱
Honestly as someone that has been playing FF14 for the last 6 years and played WoW for 15, I'd put FF14 higher on the toxicity list. Great video though. Been watching while I grind in Fire Emblem Engage

I already liked you for doing asmr. Now that I know you're a gamer I'm in love. I hope I didn't offend your husband for saying that. I'm sure he's just as awesome as you.
You should give Overwatch a try, its seriously so much fun. Yes people are mean sometimes, but I find that's only maybe 5% of the players. Be warned, it's very addictive!
I love bioshock. the world of rapture tells just as much about the game as the story does. but this will be an unpopular opinion but I really don't like skyrim. its one of the most overrated video games of all time. I couldn't get into it.
I think Bioshock created a really great universe that perhaps could be expanded on in the future. Games like Skyrim arent everyones cup of tea, I remember not enjoying the predecessor - Oblivion
@LauraLemurex ASMR did you know bioshock almost became a film?. Warner bros bought the rights to it. The creators wanted the movie to be rated r to tell the story right. But with video games movies not having success and their disappointing return to watchmen, they canceled it.

Video isn’t working :( ‘no stream tap to retry’
You could do a roleplay from the last of us as elle🤧✨️
Dear Laura, did you ever consider trying Flight Simulator 2020? It's a beautiful video game and I bet you would love it 🙂
Hey Laura!
Hello!
You should give Overwatch a try, its seriously so much fun. Yes people are mean sometimes, but I find that's only maybe 5% of the players. Be warned, it's very addictive!
You need to play nier automata, ignore everyone else and play it. It's literally on bioshock level good or even better.
Such a good game!
Do more asmr ps4 videogames
Video quality stuck at 360p
Unfortunately this is solely on TH-cams end. On PC, it goes to 4K so TH-cam is just processing longer than usual for phones
No sound?
I had this, I clicked back and then came back to the video again and it now has sound
@@cosyhaven6 thank you
Hi hello 👋
I can't hear anything.....
(It's working now.)
I love you
Yea unfortunate how Bioshock 3 ended up being rather overhyped in its time
Ill be honest
Im terrible
At tales arise
