While you do notice that something is missing, I still have to say that this version is in no way inferior to the original. Also, you could probably use this for karaoke.

AI can remove instruments or vocals nowadays. It's pretty neat. Look up UVR, MDX, or DEMUCS models. It shouldn't be too hard to figure out how to use them if you really want to (though be warned it's often not perfect on the first try and you'll have to try it with multiple models or settings then mix the results together in Audacity to get a truly clean version)
