  • If you want the cheapest and easiest way to get from Rovaniemi to Levi in Lapland, Finland, we'd recommend taking the public bus. We decided to purchase our ticket a few days before, but you should be able to just walk right onboard. We explored so much in Rovaniemi, but it's time to move on to the ski town of Levi in Kittila.

After visiting Costa Rica and French Polynesia, we realized the time was right to quit our jobs and travel full time. In late 2021, we left everything to become full time travel vloggers and we've loved every minute of it. Our goal is to make it to all seven continents and visit many countries as possible. We hope you will follow along on our journey and that we can inspire you to travel in your own country or around the world!

Omg 🥲 I'm on that Rovaniemi bus station constantly, I was literally there today! I rly love you guys' videos so it's cool seeing you there. If you're ever worried about missing a bus, don't be nervous abt asking someone :) Most Finnish people speak fluent english, I've often helped tourists out at that very bus station, lol! Hope yall had fun!

I think that they're much earlier in Rovaniemi than today. There is a lot of snow on nowadays.

I've been in Levi only once and that was in summertime when I was returning from north Norway and stopped there for a night. I have never ever in my life seen so many mosquitoes as there were. When I opened the door, I could almost breath them :D

so glad you are checking out another part of Finland! Rovaniemi is famous for its christmas stuff, but it's not as north and it doesn't have the amazing views and skiing opportunities Levi has, so I think you now get to experience something different

Gotta love the Tesla taxi. We never feel good about a bus until it shows up. So jealous of all the running reindeer you have seen. That closet dyer seems really helpful. Even reindeer enjoy the hot tub. What a fun journey!

Long distance bus: be on the stop 10 minutes early. I've been doing it since i was ten, which says a lot about the trust we have for those very, very important bus routes. The colder the stop (edit: meaning, the lonelier and more remote it is) , the more important it is to be early as they can't really wait on every stop if they are too early... They sync up with the timetable on "warm stops", in places where the stop is not just a small space on the side of the highway... And yes, it sucks if you arrive there 10 minutes early and it is 20 minutes late, so.. hop around and walk to keep yourself warm. But better to suffer a bit than miss the last bus of the day...
With trains you can arrive with 30 seconds accuracy and not miss it.. but 5 minutes early is better for the nerves..

Those are very good points!! We always try to get to the bus and train stops early just to calm our nerves! Thanks for your comment :)

Hullu Poro is famous for anyone working in show tech... So, so many techies have had some length residence there. It can get quite wild at times, everyone working remotely in one place for a long time, usually being still young... And since it is seasonal, the staff&crew changes a lot.
