Someone in the camper business needs to hook your family up with a luxury unit for your vacation! At the end of the day, your family did an amazing job and made memories that'll last forever! God bless!
I lucked out when I found your channel. I am a 75 year old widow and my children live in different states. I feel like I have adopted all of you. You are a great family❤
Squeezee! Squeezee! Squeezee! You go girl. So glad u r there for moral support. You hold the family together. You keep them from being too serious. Keep up ur happiness and humor.
It's weird watching your family go through this process and finding myself rooting for you guys. Man, I really thought you had it at the end but I'm really impressed by everyone's attitude more than anything else.
You def can if you want to. I asked my mom when I was about 32 “do you think I’m eccentric? Be honest I won’t get mad”. Her reply “* pause* Well honey let’s just say you’ve ALWAYS marched to the beat of a different drum “. I’m now 57 and pride myself on that !!! Dance like no one’s watching !
Automotive work doesn't seem to be her thing... unless she gets to be an automotive stylist. She's got more an artistic flair; she will find her thing.
WHY I WATCH THIS CHANNEL: 1) It's interesting to watch someone with above average competence and a limited budget uncover and solve automotive and/or mechanical problems. 2) The dynamic between the family members is entertaining 3) The way everyone works together with good humor is heartwarming. 4) it is unscripted and as close to "real" as cyberspace has to offer. 5) The pacing, rhythm, inserts and commentary are well timed and in very good proportion. 6) It is just relaxing to watch and it always provides a chuckle. I also produce TH-cam content and appreciate the hours of effort it takes to produce even a few minutes of upload ready video. The learning curve on lighting, mic's, camera setup/placement and video editing software is a thing in itself. Thanks for your efforts; I'm one of many it is not lost on!
Oh, the joy and all your faces, when that engine started up and idled! I think most of the viewers, probably feel that same level of joy watching you solve the issues with the mini Winnie. Josh, you get a medal for perseverance. You’re a great example to never give up. I just love your family and want all things to go well for you. God bless you guys.
A tip for making holes in new carpeting for seats, seatbelts, etc., is to position the carpet in the final location and then push a hot soldering iron through the carpet. It will make a hole, melt the carpet to keep it from unraveling and you don't have the risk of catching a thread with a drill bit or cutting a large slice with a knife, ruining the carpet.

If it just cuts the start function wire up a push button to the starter solenoid- if it also cuts spark and fuel signal find the computer signal out to ignition and injectors and throw a switch to them as well with a diode on the security side so you don’t back feed it. Security just stops the signal on one end find the outputs and give them switched power.

Just found your channel. Brought back so many memories for me. First RV my dad built was from a doughnut truck. Then he bought a Dodge chassis and built it from the ground up. We’re from NC and our first trip was to the Grand Canyon. This was in the 70’s. In 2015 my dad was 90 years old . We we’re heading home and seen the camper he built. We knocked on the door and the woman said she didn’t have the key to get in. She told us her husband drove a truck to come back the next week sadly my dad passed before he could see it. I tried my best to buy it but he wouldn’t sell it. Your video had so many memories flooding my brain. I remember I couldn’t wait to get home from school to help him. The love shows in your family. Thank you for sharing.
Josh: "How do you like driving in the RV?" Ralphie: " It's so nice, you can't even hear the engine!!" 😂😂 Squeezy: "I really wanted to take a nap...I can do that in whatever" 😂😂😂😂 We all know y'all put the effort in and you DID at least have a backup ready this time out. There's always next year!
I loved Wawa sleeping on the carpet inches away from the engine on one of those late nights you pulled. Better save up for Engineering School for her and Ralphie, they clearly love this stuff and they're good at it. Best of all, since they've actually wrenched on stuff themselves, they won't design things which are impossible to fix.
Don't apologize for the video. I love to watch you do things I would do if I had a place to do them. I appreciate everything you do. Thank you for sharing, and the time you put into it. So nice to see the family helping out too.

Awww...I feel so bad for y'all after doing all that work on the MiniWinnie!ll I was really hoping that you'd be able to take that on your trip! But it's better finding out about a few problems while you're still home than being out on the road hundreds of miles from home!! I hope you have a Great Trip and stay safe!!!
Another day in the life. Have to give the award to Squeezy for REALLY piling in the endless hours of difficult and finely tuned workmanship, which are now officially archived via this video.👍🇺🇸😎
Josh, when the computer checks out OK then you just have to go back to basics. Check the neutral safety switch and the run circuit on the starter solenoid. thats all I can think of off hand. If it is a computer problem than I havn't a clue. 🤠 👍
Hey kids. you are the best. I can see your parents are doing their best to get that camper running. Hang in there. I’m sure your dad has a great “plan B”. Hi Squeezie. You have a wonderful family.
" it's alive" congratulations to you and your family for finally being able to successfully get this running can't wait to see you guys going on road trip LOL Power Tour 2024
Gotta love Squeezy , her attitude is spot on . Sorry about the motor home but I have complete faith you will get it running . Thank you for the videos . Keep doing what you are doing . Love from Pennsylvania .
Keep at it. You'll get it. Like my son says about my builds, "it's always an adventure with you" and he loves it. And your kids love it too! Great Job!
Josh I've been following you for sometime now and became homeless about 3 months ago and been living out or my 89 chevy. I have 2 jobs but just can't make it over the financial hump. Your family has definatly taken care of me emotionally. And its just amazing what your videos have done for me although I'm homeless I'm as happy as I can be. Thanks alot to all of you !!
Because we do difficult things, if this was easy everybody would be doing it. Sums up every reason I watch your videos. Life lessons for your kids and teaching some of us about how far patience will take you to success
What a bummer for you guys but it was good to see you upbeat even though you had to be horribly disappointed. Still a very very good video You guys are always entertaining you guys always have and pass on a lot of knowledge Thank you for your wonderful videos and I always wish you the best. I forgot she asked for it so thank you for a wonderful video Squeezy.
Wow. "The Squeezie show, with SleeperDude and his other children" is such a great show to watch. I am sad to see she won't get to take her naps while you all drive the country. She is hilariously funny and always makes me smile. I am catching up on all the videos, and this was so much of a roller coaster episode for me. Still watching, wondering whats next for SleeperdDude and family.
Thanks for sharing your family with your viewers. Take some vacation time to relax and enjoy your wonderful family. We will be here when you get back. Have safe travels.
Every bloop is a lesson learned for all of us that watch. Doesn't mean that the frustration isn't real but we all clap when the problem is finally solved.
Check the computers pin for the prompt on the starter relay and see if it's kicking out a signal. That will eliminate the computer system. Narrowing it down to relay or starter/construction. God bless
Somewhere down the line you will figure it out and another opportunity for family adventure road trip will happen. Well it was nice to see some of Squeezy personality shining through really makes a person smile.
If it's any consolation, your RV videos inspired me to buy an old RV to fix up. We just finished our 2nd trip. We've gone a little over 2000 miles total. Love what you do, Thanks!
This is absolutely hands down the greatest channel on youtube!!!! I'm from Mitchell indiana and for the longest time I thought I was the only person in the world that used the word casings instead of tires lmao! I'm 31 yrs old and now that I know there's someone else out there that uses the word casings, I can sleep more peacefully at night haha keep up the great content guys and love this channel!!!!!!😊😊😊
zero worries in the filming. The family working together is fun comical and all around a joy to watch, although if you wanted to do a demo flip flop on the floor whole family stile we could throw in a laugh or 2!
Without a doubt, this channel and the content is by far top notch good wholesome family oriented togetherness. Unlike a majority of other somewhat similar channels, there is a feeling of true goodness just watching the interactions within your family. Very special in my book 👍👍.
I wish I had a brand new motor home just to gift you guys. You all definitely deserve it. Just pack a picnic lunch and take the family to the creek for a camp out. Those kids will have fun no matter where you go.. much Love....
I was feeling so hopeful that it was going to work out. You guys are amazing and that you kept your spirits up even with all of the issues you had to deal with for a few days. Hoping whatever plan B you have will be something that will make wonderful memories for all of you this summer.
Those dodge distributors. The reluctor has very small thread like wires. A hairline crack almost undetectable by the eye will cause an intermittent short causing a “no spark, no start” condition. It’s fun. Pull the distributor. Remove drive gear. Pull shaft out of housing. Remove the reluctor. Inspect wires. Hopefully, this helps
Awesome video yet again! Definitely put an aftermarket computer in there, don't worry about apologizing for the way the video was filmed, i like the down to earth way you guys film and the way you stay upbeat when things don't go your way. life is short, gotta enjoy it!
This is the best type of reality show because not everything works out like you see on TV. Hope once you're back from your trip you can figure out what went wrong. If anything pull that motor and just toss in a small block.
The fuel sync on these magnum engines is very very important and will cause all sorts of wierd issues including no starts no ildle or throttle response ECT. If you want the best power from them get a scan tool and under functional tests select fuel sync and you can set it from -4-+4 +4 is most power but will cause it to run a bit funny most people set it at +2 or 3 and it works great but you have to set it after you pull the dizzy even if you get it close its will spark knock under heavy load more often than not. And it will allow the computer to know what its really at. The magnum engines sfter s battery swap or dead battery are notorious for not idling right away and ive had it take close to 5 minutes to re learn the idle. Just have to use the pedal to keep it running. The oil pressure switch is tied to the asd and dhuts down the engine if no oil pressure. Mines a 98 and shuts down under 5 psi of oil pressure for 20 seconds. The computer is only needed to have od snd tcc lockup it will still have manual 1 2 3 without the computer
In addition to the better shocks, seriously look at ADDCO sway bars. Poly bushings & HD end links along with the shocks & sway bars will make the chassis much easier to handle/live with
If the Duggars had 17 fewer kids and were all gearheads. This show should be on TLC. As long as Ralphie hasn't pulled a Josh Duggar I think it might work
Josh, we love all that y'all do! You go on vacation, relax, have fun and don't worry about anything at all. You've got to relax and get refreshed. We love all of you so much.

I love Mopar and own and drive 6 of them, so I bought a 1976 dodge chinook and rebuilt a 1989 dodge 360 magnum for mine.. no computers, just good ole carb with air gap manifold... I am looking for a hard to find 46RH to back it up... 46RH can be shifted with vacuum pods.. old school.... retro engineering for a retro RV.... I love your videos they give me a lot of great ideas... not to mention my wife likes them and it helps me justify to her ANOTHER project I drag home on the vehicle hauler...

Hey this is his wifey and I absolutely love watching ur family and animals!!! Only car show I love to watch! Plz tell me what happened to puddin??!!!❤❤❤
Use the ignition cylinder from the Durango and whatever other components that make up the security system and wire them into the RV. One more thing to try, since I didn't see you do it in your video, is to disconnect your battery for a few hours to drain the power from the computer then reconnect it and see if it will start.
I've yet to share on with the general public but about three months ago i fell while riding a onewheel (without a helmet) i hit the payment and had half of my skull removed to relieve pressure (TMI I know) but it could have been so much worse for my family and me. While walking and talking again were a challenge I'm slowly getting things back together with the help of God, my family and friends, and You guys. I love your channel and I have watched for along time, i would watch reruns at night in the hospital and it helped me to look forward to getting home. I love the way ya'll work together and ya'll are such excellent parents. What you said at the end of this video is the honest truth any problem you have will pass, just give it time. Thank you for everything, I know sometimes it may be hard to understand how what you do can affect people, and I am just a single person, but it has been the thing that brightens me up when I am down, that helps me to look forward to working on cars and getting better. Look at the back of the ignition switch and make sure none of the wires fell off or broke (specifically the one that sends signal to starter and the coil power wire).
Check out the neutral switch wiring. You had many of the wires moved around and it could just be a loose wire.
That’s what I was thinking.
I was thinking the ignition switch or neutral switch. The instant shut off was something strange like that IMHO 🤔🤨🤪
It clunked before it died, maybe find the clunk and find the problem?? Did it unplug something?

But it's better finding out about a few problems while you're still home than being out on the road hundreds of miles from home!! I hope you have a Great Trip and stay safe!!!
That’s true

Another day in the life.
Have to give the award to Squeezy for REALLY piling in the endless hours of difficult and finely tuned workmanship, which are now officially archived via this video.👍🇺🇸😎
That’s funny
This is going to be a great memory the kids will share for a lifetime. Thank y'all.
I vote for shirts with Tosh saying " donchustartwithme" lol
Good idea
@@Sleeperdude Thanks. She'll probably say " donchudare" lol
What a lovely family. The world needs more.
Josh, when the computer checks out OK then you just have to go back to basics. Check the neutral safety switch and the run circuit on the starter solenoid. thats all I can think of off hand. If it is a computer problem than I havn't a clue. 🤠 👍
Thats what I was thinking. Try it in neutral!!!
It cut the engine out as well though, not just the starter...
Sleeper dude has the best fans ever.
Good solid advice.❤
Squeezy is your in-house comedienne. She always puts a smile on your faces.
Hey kids. you are the best.
So sorry it died on you! Amazing work keeping yours and the kids spirits up! That's some first class parenting right there
Thank you. We will get it running good eventually. We appreciate your generosity
Great Job!
Glad to see that your family work and play together. So much of the world has went to the dogs. Love y'alls channels, keep up the awesome work!!!
💯 on this comment
Josh I've been following you for sometime now and became homeless about 3 months ago and been living out or my 89 chevy. I have 2 jobs but just can't make it over the financial hump. Your family has definatly taken care of me emotionally. And its just amazing what your videos have done for me although I'm homeless I'm as happy as I can be. Thanks alot to all of you !!
Because we do difficult things, if this was easy everybody would be doing it. Sums up every reason I watch your videos. Life lessons for your kids and teaching some of us about how far patience will take you to success
Squeezy is the BEST! I honestly don't know how you all get anything done without her. hahaha Love the Show and love you all.
Thank you
Wow. "The Squeezie show, with SleeperDude and his other children" is such a great show to watch. I am sad to see she won't get to take her naps while you all drive the country. She is hilariously funny and always makes me smile. I am catching up on all the videos, and this was so much of a roller coaster episode for me. Still watching, wondering whats next for SleeperdDude and family.
hey sleeper dude i love your videos man, you and the kids and the wife are fun to watch, and the work yall put in is amazing.
Thank you we are blessed
@@Sleeperdude im blessed to get a reply❤️❤️
Man!, U hit the nail "right on the head!" Well said & a fact!👍🏽...
Thanks for sharing your family with your viewers. Take some vacation time to relax and enjoy your wonderful family. We will be here when you get back. Have safe travels.
man nearly cried when she fired up the time you all have put into this is amazing wish you all well on your trip great family amen
God bless
great point
It stalled while driving
@ericgiroux320 yes but starter should still crank if it lost fire. Start at getting it to crank is the correct diag order.
Squeeze is so funny she coming out of her shell great video
Awesome video
Nice to see Winnebago outside the shop.
Hope you guys get it 100% fixed in the near future
God bless
Yes for sure
you gave it will come together soon
it your best
I love that feeling when you hear the motor start for the first time it just gives you so much more momentum to get the job done
I don’t think we’ve seen the last of this camper! A+ for effort. ❤❤
We ALWAYS get excited when a new Sleeperdude video comes on! I'm also a member, and I LOVE the pictures from your trip!!!!
Thank you we appreciate your support
zero worries in the filming.
Thank you that’s true
Ok thanks
Awesome video yet again! Definitely put an aftermarket computer in there, don't worry about apologizing for the way the video was filmed, i like the down to earth way you guys film and the way you stay upbeat when things don't go your way. life is short, gotta enjoy it!
I got my blue star! But that RV IS GETTING NO STARS FOR MYSTERY MADNESS
I’m so glad you guys got the rv running. My family and I look forward to every upload from both of your channels!
But it's not running
The computer is only needed to have od snd tcc lockup it will still have manual 1 2 3 without the computer
you said what i was going to. hope he sees it.
TROUBLE SHOOT IS THE BIGGEST PAIN. I LIKE HOW YOU PLOW THROUGH IT.
In addition to the better shocks, seriously look at ADDCO sway bars. Poly bushings & HD end links along with the shocks & sway bars will make the chassis much easier to handle/live with
NICE 👍 to see your kids are not on phone 24/7. How I was raised in 60's and 70's
Great family and well behaved kids. Never a dull moment.
Thank you
You will figure it out...and amazing family time...that's what makes the Sleepercrew so wonderful!

At 49:30 that is the most Southern Tennessee accent I've ever heard on Wawa Wawa. 🤣🤣🤣Gave me quite a chuckle! 😀Taking after her Mama maybe?😉
Oh yeah she’s been around her mom too much
Oh my days, I literally watched this video on the edge of my seat
Totally gutted that things went wrong like that
Least theres positivity with the family
Awesome effort guys 🇺🇸🇬🇧
I am retired A&P mechanic and now I restore things for a hobby.... I have restored cars, planes, motorcycles, boats...but never an RV until now...
God bless you guys. This is one car channel my wife loves to watch with me. She is driving me crazy wanting to know what happen to pudding. Good luck on the trip.
Thanks so much
Hey this is his wifey and I absolutely love watching ur family and animals!!! Only car show I love to watch! Plz tell me what happened to puddin??!!!❤❤❤
You have awesome kids! They are so interested in what you do.. They will grow up to be really good people... Enjoy them while you have them...
Use the ignition cylinder from the Durango and whatever other components that make up the security system and wire them into the RV. One more thing to try, since I didn't see you do it in your video, is to disconnect your battery for a few hours to drain the power from the computer then reconnect it and see if it will start.
Ok thanks
Keep on being an amazing family and know that you make an amazing difference in peoples lives.
Wow what an incredible story. I’m glad you are starting to feel better. I am happy we could help you thru that somehow. Thank you for watching
Kudos for Squeezy! She makes the whole thing work.
Awwwe Darn Brother, I truly was bummed that you went through all that, and had to pull the plug on her. Sometime you have too do it. And come back to it later. You all deserved that vacation. I appreciate taking us all along too. You’ll get her finished, it just may be another day. I am grateful to have gotten to watch from my iPad. Bless you all.
Yeah I was hoping it would work out but it didn’t this time. We will get it eventually
What's been great is that it was a big family project that had you all spending time with each other working together and that's what counts my dad and mom wouldnt of did half the stuff you guys do as a family 👍💖
That’s true thank you
